Great walk, great views -even managed to see whales splashing about. Walk descending is good, but need to make sure you are fit because the return walk uphill is a bit of a challenge

Though the walk up to the lighthouse is steep, the view from the top is heavenly. You can see ocean from every direction and you can be sure to spot a dolphin, whale, turtle or maybe even a mountain goat!

Gn invigorating walk with stunning views. Although for much of the way it is a roadside walk the surroundings and the views make it worthwhile for any age and for the relatively unfit.

The path is well marked and variously paved and boardwalked, although you have the option of walking along the beach for some of the way- the scenery is stunning, with cliffs, rocks, bays, pretty beaches, waves, surfers, and whales and dolphins- standing on the cliffs near the lighthouse, looking straight down through crystal clear water at a pod of dolphins... Awesome views, we saw 6 pods of whales and 3 pods of dolphins, good work out too! There are places to stop and catch your breath and take in the scenery.

no visit to byron bay is complete without the walk to the most easterly point of Australia. just east of town, the lighthouse and lighthouse trail make for a pleasant hour or two. unfortunate that parking cost $7 for a 1 hour pass (dont really think the 1 hour is monitored to much), apart from that, worth the visit

We went on an all day unique tour which allowed us to explore the towns and villages beyond Byron Bay. Our Tour Guide Wendy was very informative, easy going, helpful and full of fun! We learned a lot about the history of each place we went to. We visited Bangalow, Minyon Falls,Crystal Castle, Mullumbimby and Brunswick Junction. We were never... More

You can easily stand up at the Light house all day watching for whales!! The loop is the perfect length and includes bush and beach and a good hill climb to burn the cals before breakfast!

Great walk, beautiful nature and I saw dolphins from up there. It's a serious walk; bring water and maybe some food.
