The most Easterly point of Australia at Byron Bay. Start the walk up Lighthouse Road along the board walk at rainforest canopy height and then take the path down to The Pass. It is at the end of Byron Bay beach and has a lookout . Walk the circular 10 min Palm Tree Valley path and then take the cliff... More

The track from The Pass to the Lighthouse gives views of the landscape and ocean which are not bettered anywhere. It also runs through very pleasant forest. While steep heading up to the Light it is a very well formed track that almost anyone can follow. I would highlight the little island at the Pass. There is a walkway to... More

It was a lovely day for this work and the cafe at the top was a great treat. The views are great and we saw some whales and dolphins. Go and let it take your breath away!

We walked towards the Lighthouse from the main beachfront at Byron Bay. The walk goes though, beaches, park land, bush and hill. It's a fantastic meander with plenty of places to pause for breath. The view once you get up to the lighthouse is spectacular especially if it is whale watching season. Stop at the lookout on top of the... More

It is a great view from the lighthouse. We have been twice in 2 years - both times it was July and we have seen Whales both times. Plus the view in general is spectacular.

Great walk to the lighthouse. Not something to be done in jeans and sandals! Saw whales and dolphins at the top of the lighthouse.

Get up there in the morning, it's not so crowded. Watching the sunrise from the most easterly lighthouse is special. We even saw whales and dolphins from up there. And you have a view onto one of the most beautiful beaches, tallow beach!

The walk great and it is not as rough as the reviews say, but may be because I was stopping to see all the Wales and dolphins on the shore. It's really worth it mainly because of the views and the animals. When I went there I saw so many dolphins, wales, turtles and even lizards and kangaroos. I recommend... More
