This takes a few hours but it is a great day out! In the sun in can be a bit tiring but it was definitely worth it. Lovely views along the way. However not very many toilet opportunities which is hard when your drinking a lot of water doing the walk in the sun.

A great day out taking in the trail, the lighthouse and the secluded beaches. Saw Dolphins playing in the surf from the eastern point. The trail was well maintained, not too busy but enough people to spot Dolphins with and get photos taken. Well worth a stroll here.

Kids loved it and so did everyone in the group. Lot of lookout points to enjoy the view. Would go again if time permits.

From the beach to the bush past wallabies, bush turkeys birds and spectacular vistas of surf, rocks , lighthouse and endless ocean. You get to stand on the most eastern point in Australia! It will take your breath away both metaphorically and physically. Do it!

Walking the lighthouse trail is a wonderful way to experience what Byron Bay is really about. From main beach the trail starts off at a leisurely pace, then steadily picks up pace until you reach the "Boardwalk" which allows one of the most beautiful views of the Bay! You look back over the bay to the township & to Wollumbin... More

You are always sure of seeing some Dolphins on the Light House Trail walk. Its a must to do when visiting Byron Bay. You can do a couple of different walks to reach the Light House and take it easy or get the heart rate up by pushing yourself on the stairs.

Being at the most easterly point in Australia is awesome . I go to the farthest point so I can be the only person to be out on the edge . I walk this trail all the time . Whale and dolphins come in close and you get gorgeous photos . The goats that use to roam here are gone... More

This early morning walk to the lighthouse was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my whole life. I went for a dip first at Little Watego Beach (beautiful but not recommended, very dangerous beach). And then I ascended. It was so beautiful that I felt no effort at all even though I am definitely not fit. I was hypnotised,... More

If you find yourself in Byron Bay the is a great area to visit. Bring some water and charge the camera. You can walk down the trail behind the lighthouse. It leads to a beautiful beach and cliffs that look out onto the ocean. The beach seems to be rarely visited so it is very nice and clean. Everyone goes... More
