BEAUTIFUL

Amazing views with plenty of space to soak it all in. Parking at lighthouse has a fee but much easier than hiking your way up

Walks are well paved, although some parts are steep and have steps. Excellent views out to sea. Lighthouse and cafe at the end of the walk. Good walk along the beach from the town centre and a long walk back down the road.

Great spot, easy access, views forever. The lighthouse is a magnificent sculpture that looks like it is made from icing.

The most easterly point of Australia, breathtaking, spectacular and the best place to see the migrating whales.

The walk to this lighthouse fro Byron is so amazing as the views are beautiful and you'll see many birds, bugs and perhaps other wildlife on your trek. Once you get to the lighthouse take the tour and capture the outstanding view in all directions!

The view from the Lighthouse is amazing. Hike from Wategos Beach up to the Lighthouse. Lots of viewpoints and photo ops along this trail. Saw migrating humpback whales when we were there. Visit the most easily mainland point in Australia.

As others have said the paid parking is annoying, however there is free parking for those capable of walking up the hill, which we did. The walk around the lighthouse and down to the point is spectacular and well worth the effort.

I reached this place by walking from town along the boardwalk next to the beaches with some great views from high up looking out over the coastline. While I didn't actually go into the lighthouse (I didn't see any obvious ways or signs to get inside nor did I see anything advertised), I got some nice photos of it from... More
