Sorry, I cannot recommend these guys. Was in a boat with one of the guides. Coming back to the shore, he advised me to hand him over my sunglasses, he would stow them away safely. Instead he just plugged them in his swimmers pocket, which I couldn't see sitting in front of him. We landed dry and safe on the... More

Hi Anja, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear about your glasses being lost on the tour and that your experience was not 100% positive. I would just like to make it clear that our customers' safety is first and foremost with our company and it is something we very much pride... More

Had a great day ... the whales were so close I wondered what would happen if they tipped us out of kayaks ...not worried about being in the sea ... just how I would get back onto kayak !! Loads of fun .... we missed morning tea because of all the activity .. but I would rather watch whales up... More

The paddling was RIGOROUS! It seemed like we were going for hours and we did not see one dolphin. What a disappointment. Of course, it's not really in their control, but in my mind, I was surrounded by dolphins jumping next to me as well as over my head and I was feeding them magical berries. It was hard work,... More

Hi Joey, The day you came on the tour with us we did have quite a strong sweep along the beach so unfortunatley there was alot more paddling required than usual! While we do see dolphins on 90% of the tours, we must remind customer they are wild dolphins and we do not have control of their movements. The trip... More

Myself and some friends went out last weekend. We seriously had such an amazing time. Alice and her team are just brilliant. Could not ask for a better experience. Can't wait to do this again, we saw lots of fish and turtles. If your thinking about doing this, then, Just do it, once in a lifetime experience. Thanks Alice and... More

I phoned early & due to cancellation was lucky enough to join the morning kayaking tour on 23/4/14. I was partnered with Sam one of the three guides, as I was solo. The day was perfect sunny skies, no wind, crystal clear glassy water. We saw 3 separate pods of dolphins, one with a young one and they came very... More

Despite a miserable rainy day, we still did the kayaking. The tour guides were really good, and knew their stuff. Funny and entertaining. Be warned though, if you book for a set number of people, all of those people must turn up. This activity books out quickly, and if someone doesn't turn up, you still have to pay for them.

After a bit of a shaky start capsizing in the kayak (thank goodness for the helmets and life-jackets!) - it's really quite difficult to get out over the waves, especially not having done it much before - I swapped my kayak partner to be in with one of the guides and I was very glad I did ... as I... It was easy enough to arrange this, as we were walking distance from their hangout. We turned up, were duly relieved of our money (cash as there were no banking facilities on the beach). Obviously, the three hours trip included all the preparation, waiting for others to turn up, getting the gear and dragging the kayaks to the water (and... More

My husband and I went on a three hour kayaking tour with Cape Byron Kayaks in Byron Bay, in November 2013. We chose them because their giant print motto is "Kayak With Dolphins!" Although the experience of kayaking on gently rolling water once we got out to the open sea was enjoyable, and the scenery of mountains, cliffs and beach... More

Even in the rain, the trip didn't disappoint. The guides were friendly, helpful & informative. It was an exhilarating morning that included an urgent (yet fun) paddle out into the surf, the close sighting of several pods of dolphins, to the floating about as a turtle swam past & under us. The ride in, surfing the waves, even had our... More
