My partner and I recently signed up for this sea kayakting experience on the recommendation of a friend. When we arrived at the site, we were warned that the ocean was rough and that it would be an 'interesting' experience. They were certainly not wrong! The water was very rough and I soon became sea-sick. I really respect the guides... More

Thanks for the review and yes definitely come back with your dolphin guarantee after your "extreme kayaking" we see dolphins in all conditions and hopefully next time you will get a perfect ocean ;-) I will also pass this onto the guides. Hope to see you out on the water again soon. More

This is really good fun, I was a bit hesitant to start with having not kayaked for years and years but it's not difficult and even though we capsized the water was warm. We saw sea turtles and lots of dolphins. It's a 3 hour trip, great guides - really knowledgeable and good fun. Highly recommended and really think this... More

So great that you saw the beautiful marine life of the bay the dolphins are pretty playful at the moment as they have a few babies in the family and the turtle's sometimes forgotten but beautiful to see and great that after years of kayaking you were out on the water having fun!! YEW More

We had a perfect day for this- sunny clear blue skies and relatively calm conditions. The team were friendly and approachable, got everyone sorted out with their kit and basic instructions and then we were off! The guides were really good, especially given we had a large group of mixed abilities. On the trip we saw stingrays, dolphins (adults and... More

The first day we went the sea was rough and although we got on the water the trip was called off early. We thought that would be it but instead we were offered a complimentary trip. The second time was great. The staff were organised and friendly. We saw turtles and loads of dolphins which was really fantastic! A great... More

Very friendly (and loud) staff. Really well organised with good safety instructions and 3 instructors with our group. The instructors went out of their way to find us dolphins and turtles and we certainly weren't disappointed. Very good value for money considering how long you are out there for and the tea and biscuits at the end was a nice... More

What an awesome experience. We booked this tour very last minute and were able to get in the afternoon session. Although we didn't see Dolphins, it was 100% worth it. We did see a large turtle :). Our tour guides Lou and Woody were great, full of information and did the best they could to try and help us see... More

Regardless of whether you see any Dolphins or turtles, this trip is definitely a must and is good value for money. Experienced and enthusiastic staff make this all the more worth while too! You go a fair distance from the shore, have discussions a,on the way about marine life, as well as get a good workout for your arms for... More

The Cape Byron Kayaks trip was the highlight of my time at Byron Bay. The guys were really friendly and helpful, as were all the people doing the tour. Saw plenty of dolphins and the stop off in between was a really good set up. Really good value for money, cant wait to go back and do it again.

Me and my partner went on the afternoon session in mid October. It was a brilliant experience; the guides were all really friendly and we managed to see Dolphins and spotted a whale!
