Lovely View

I nearly didn't go, but so glad I did a lovely view over Byron at one side and the sea at the other and we were also greeted by a group a of Dolphins.

Beautiful lookout, hard to find parking..... easy to get to from downtown Byron Bay. Sore two whales breaching from the lookout.

I just can't help... There's no magical place like this one in the world. Probably the one of the most amazing Lighthouse in Australia.

It has a good display of local history here. There are amazing views and a nice cafe just 30 seconds walk away. Don't miss it.

It's a beautiful building with a panoramic view, whales leaping out of the water, hover birds of prey almost within arms reach and water the colour of... the glorious sea. Stand on the Eastern most point of Australia just so you can say you have. If you drive there is a $7 parking fee.

I don't think you could get a more spectacular view of Byron Bay and the surrounding coastline. The walk up to the lighthouse is quite steep, but quickly forgotten when you take in the splendor of the view. You can do a 45 minute loop walk from the base of the lighthouse road, up and around the Iighthouse, down the... More

If your driving up then you will have plenty more energy than we did, the costal walk is a tough one but it manageable. It certainly is worth getting to the top for the views alone. The visitor centre looks very informative although we did not use it, they do tell you about the whales and dolphins, which we were lucky... More

The lighthouse itself is boring, but the view makes up for it. Get a coffee at the cafe up there. If you're there in whale season you get good chances to glance onto some.

Must visit for sunrise...its an amazing walk and the view is fantastic! Love the lighthouse and you may spot a whale or dolphin! Have a walk, it will not be possible to park for sunrise viewing
