Arrived just in time to get the first tour of the day up the lighthouse by a lovely guide, right up the top on a lovely sunny day, could see whales out in the water and got a stunning view all around. Very picturesque, good cafe and great walk if you're feeling energetic.

Make sure you jump on one of the volunteer led tours of the lighthouse for a gold coin donation. Just head into the centre of the lighthouse and find one of the volunteers to sign up. Up the top of the lighthouse you get stunning views of the most Easterly point and Byron (if you're lucky you can catch a... More

The views over the bay were amazing. There is lots of information on the way up and it's quite a climb but well worth it.

He wanted to do it so I walked with my 4 year old from the lighthouse to the most easterly point. We made it there and back with ease, legs slightly sore and hearts pumping but all worth it for the sense of achievement. You are once again rewarded with the view when you return to the lighthouse.

Wow - what a view! We walked up from the CBD of Byron and it takes about 40 mins each way if you follow path that goes alongside the vehicle road. Don't forget your sunscreen and I suggest doing before it gets too hot in the day. Also wear proper shoes because it is definitely a steep walk. Entry is... More

The views are breath taking in all directions and its worth the longer walk from the free car park, not the one by the lighthouse which is charged for. The view from the claimed most easterly point of Oz includes unspoilt beaches in all directions and there are wonderful walking trails through the conservation area. Take a camera with a... More

There is something majestic about standing at the eastern most point of Australia, the view is superb as is the idea that you can go know further east. What you don't realise till you get there is you can go further slightly northeast if you continue to follow the path. the walking tracks here are well maintained and everything is... More

The views are beautiful, but they charge you $7 just to park for 1 hour then if you want to go up I side the lighthouse this is also extra! But disappointed as it was all money money money 😞
