The dive exceeded my expectations. We saw 30+ leopard sharks, 3 manta rays and 2 green turtles. The equipment was in good condition however my boyfriends first regulator was broken (easily replaced thanks to thorough gear checks). Alistair the dive master was lovely and let me take control of the dive as it was just the two of us. The... More

I expected my dive in Byron Bay to be mediocre at best, but Julian Rocks turned out to be a fantastic dive. We got lucky with dozens of leopard sharks and spotted rays, and it was just a lovely all around dive. I wish I'd had more time! Good equipment, easy transfers to/from the dive site, and a good price... More

I recently was able to dive @ Sundive and can absolutely say Sundive is a top notch dive shop! I have been lucky enough to dive in places such as Malaysia, Thailand, Costa Rica , Mexico and now Australia. Byron Bay Sundive ranks at the top of any dive shop I have dove with. The staff at Sundive were friendly,... More

Had a great experience with the Sundive team. Only a short boat trip to the site and we saw turtles, leopard shark, manta ray and a huge variety of fish. Visibility was 20m which helped, but the team advised where to see the best selection and the whole experience was very professional. Thanks for a great holiday memory!

Best dives I have ever done! In winter there are many grey nurse sharks and summer we saw leopard sharks. Staff is friendly and the boat ride to the rocks is awesome too. I would recommend this dive place and company to everybody.

Great staff, friendly, helpful and safety conscious. I was lucky enough to snorkel 2 consecutive days and saw a variety of fish, turtles, rays and sharks. Great value for money.

Wonderful diving with reasonable vis around Julian Rocks. What an incredible abundance of rays, leopard sharks and wobbegongs, plus all medium and smaller fish too - too many to list especially in the cod hole swim through. It was an absolute joy to hang out down on a sandy patch of the bottom with the leopard sharks, they're so chilled... More

My wife and I went on the snorkel trip with sundive out to Julian rocks in late January 2014. Visibility was terrible and the trip was a quick waste of 65$ each. We have done lots of snorkelling previously in Thailand, all of the Hawaiian islands and Mexico and this was by far the worst. Save your $$$$$$. Pass on... More

Hello, thank you for taking the time to write your review. We welcome positive and negative feedback in order to improve the service we offer. We do take extreme care to take out snorkelers only in conditions that are suitable and enjoyable. It seems that we have made an error in this situation as you clearly did not enjoy the... More

Good people with easy going attitude but safe and professional. Gear was in fine condition and Dale made the two days we dived with them as enjoyable as possible - looking forward to returning when the visibility is better!
