We stayed right across the road from the Belongil beach and absolutely loved it! During the day the sand was white & so clean, the ocean was refreshing. At night, when walking along the sand there were little crabs running around which was great to see!

We enjoyed this beach most of the day with its glorious sunsets, golden sand and surfers. It may be a bit cool in June but with less people it is simply wonderful. A photographers dream

Belongil beach was brilliant. It's a beautiful, long stretch of beach for dogs and people to run free! Byron at its best.

Long stretches of firm sand to walk on and the place for surfers to enjoy.Very clean and safe.We enjoyed a daily walk from our accommodation at Byron Cove beach House . Dogs were under control and no rubbish to be seen as we walked.

Love to stay here in preference to travelling into Byron for accomodation. A couple of great resto bars here suffice for all my needs whilst on holidays. The beach isn't crowded and the quite environment is great for a relaxing holiday

The welcome to Byron Bay says it all: "Slowdown and Chill Out." This place has it all - great beaches, big variety of places to eat, accommodation for all budgets, loads of atmosphere. The surrounding areas are all worth a visit like Bangalow. We loved seeing all the international backpackers having a great time.

A great beach with miles of beautiful white sand. A few waves but not a surfing beach. Great spot where the locals sunbathe for hours.

A lot is happening there, during the day, as well as at night. It is very pleasant to relax and swim and at night (during summer time) you will find groups of people hanging around having a great time.
