I love walking along this beach. There is usually things going on. This is a dog friendly beach & I really enjoy watching dogs enjoying their freedom. Owners are often very friendly & often stop for a chat. Surfers are great to watch when there is a good swell... & sometimes there is hardly a soul on the beach so... More

Stay at the Cavvanbah Beach House just one minute's walk away. This beach is a little quieter than the main beach and is absolutely stunning!

We walked into town everyday along the beach. It's a great walk and beautiful. If you turn left there is not much to see but is quieter than towards Byron. Look out for dog poop as it's the dog exercise area but most owners are good at clearing up and all the stuff is provided for them. When the tide... More

What a beautiful beach lovely for an early morning walk. Wide silky smooth sand that just goes on forever. A great place to walk your dog of you are travelling with one. A of sunrise for locals.

We stayed on Childe Street, which is the street right across from the beach. The beach itself was absolutely divine and most importantly dog friendly (we brought our four-legged fur baby up for our anniversary). Not much in the terms of waves, but very good for young children. We enjoyed how calm it was also, allowed you to really relax.... More

After a long time spent in town, in the crowdy Byron Bay centre, this place looked so peaceful and stunning... good place where to chill away from the crow

Ones of Byrons best beaches. It's a bit quieter than most and so attracts more locals and is a great beach for a lovely walk. Several great cafes off the beach too.

You could walk for miles along Belongil Beach - so pristine, calming and away from busy town centre. Some great restuarants in the area.

Doesn't get much better than this, always something interesting happening. Even the dog section of the beach is super clean and people are very respectful.
