Great dog friendly, quiet, clean beach which you can walk along to get to Main Beach at Byron. When tide is at it's highest water is right up to the rocks and makes it hard to access if you're not wanting to get wet. Sadly looking as erosion and loss of sand will take more of the beach away.

This is one of those places that has suffered not because of the encroachment of human settlement and industrial development but by misguided attempts to retain the "natural" state of our shores. The beach has receded, the sand is filled with stone, the vegetation has crowded out any places to stop and rest. It is or was beautiful.

We found a lovely spot under a tree where we settled down for an afternoon nap. The beach is beautiful, a few families wandered past but there were no crowds on this sunny day.

Beautiful quiet beach but it is not patrolled so swim with caution. White clean sand. Easy walk to town.

A must if you have dogs. Byrons only dog beach. We always go there for a swim and walk. Just be mindful that the very northern end has some nudists 😁

Very beautiful and long beach without too many people. You can easily find a spot where you can feel you have a little part of the beach to yourself. Current can be bit strong at times . There are couple of bistro/ restaurants so you can grab some food

Byron is so pretty! Beautiful place that you must visit. Pretty beaches and funky cafes. Very busy though which can be a pain and ruin chill out time. I still cant wait to go back though!

It is always great to visit this beach. Great sand and a bit quieter then Clarks beach. Not as much nudism as there used to be in the northern part.
