The Lizard a must for a cream tea at Lizard Cafe and watch the seals. Kynance Cove quite a walk but well worth it

This is one of my favourite beaches and beauty spots in Cornwall. Just a short walk from the National Trust car park and such a pretty part of the countryside. Lots of people enjoying themselves and children playing in the sea, even went in for a paddle myself. Lovely tea room with views over the beach, home made cakes, sandwiches... More

Who needs The Bahamas, Barbados or Bali when we have Kynance. The most beautiful place of earth especially when the sun in shining but still stunning on a wild windy day when the waves are crashing on the sand. Simply the best, better than all the rest as someone once sang...

Absoultely fantastic cove to visit whilst in Cornwall. The walk down from the car park is only a few minutes but quite difficult with young children - especialy on the way back uphill. The cove is superb with an aqua coloured sea and an evocative setting. Its sheltered from the wind for the most part and there are rock pools... More

I have been visiting Kynance Cove as part of an annual family holiday to nearby Trelowarren for the last 11 years, never got around to writing a Trip Advisor review until now. We return to Kynance multiple times each year. When the tide is out (tip - buy a tide timetable for £1 from any local shop to help plan... More

This was our second visit to the Lizard Peninsula and this visit like our first one was blessed with beautiful weather. Lizard village is the most southerly village on the British mainland and it has a very nice restaurant with a wide selection of food options and you can get everything from a snack to a main meal or just... Despite our many trips to cornwall we had never venture to Kynance cove as it was never sunny when we were neat to the Lizard and didn't want to visit on a wet grey day. I had seen the postcards of the cove and wanted to see it in all its glory on a hot day with a calm sea... More

Kynance cove has a sentimental value to me and is my favourite beach I have ever visited. Nowadays I travel abroad but always return to Kynance at any excuse. I last visited August last year and it still takes my breath away. It is so picturesque. Whenever I take friends with me they have the same reaction at how beautiful... More

I've been to Kynance Cove many times. The views from the top of the cliff are spectacular. It is quite a way down to the beach so you 'd have to be quite able to do this. There is an alternate route for pushchairs and doesnt take too long to get down to the beach. The sea is a lovely... More
