We loved the feel of this place with its authenticity and friendly atmosphere. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The food was delicious. I had a smoked mackerel ploughmans which was fab and husband had a great burger. The food was well presented and the wait wasn't long. We will definitely go back again.

Tour guides are great. You get the chance to get up close and personal to some of your favourite beers.

Sadly, as it was a spur of the moment decision, I didn't book the tour but enjoyed the museum and chatting with staff, tried, enjoyed and bought some ales and was glad I visited.

What can I say? I love my real ales, but St. Austell brewery ales are one of my favourites and it was great to visit the brewery. Only downside was that there was no Big Job available, as it had sold out and wouldn't be available till 20/04/2015. Lovely staff too.

Fantastic place, lovely staff and tasty beers. We booked in advance for a trip around the brewery; our guide Anne was very informative and approachable, making jokes throughout and encouraging everyone to sample beers. Got an opportunity to pull my own pint too! I'd advise that you also stop over for lunch, the food was very tasty. Shop downstairs is... More

We went here on a rainy day and just managed to squeeze on the last tour. We had my 11 year old boys with us and we all really enjoyed the tour. All the staff there are really passionate about this family run business. There is the most amazing museum that is really entertaining and a brewery shop. We finished... More

A lovely welcome awaits at St Austell brewery, although not able to do the tour due to having a small child, we looked around the museum which is well laid out and very informative. You are then able to sample the diff fervent ales, then better still have a wande round the shop and buy ales or wine tshirts and... More

A must visit if you're in the area. The tour is interesting and informative. Our guide, Nick, was good fun and very knowledgeable. If you're not a beer lover, you might just change your mind after the tour. We got to try most of their beers, including the Tribute Extra which you don't always get in the pubs. You get... More
