This is a must see when visiting this part of Cornwall. The Beer is superb and served by friendly and knowledgable bar staff. There is an interesting museum and the Pint & Pasty deal is fantastic, the pasties are excellent. The Brewery shop is very well stocked for taking away plenty of beer. Excellent attraction

This is a genuine 'factory tour' of the brewery. Too often companies are scared and you don't see the real thing. On this tour about 8 of you are taken around the brewery - watch out you don't bang your head or trip over pipes etc. Enjoy tasting all their beers and finish off with a free 2 half-pints whilst... Took an opportunity to enjoy a tour whilst the weather was less than brilliant. It represents excellent value for money at only £10 for which you get an informative 90 minute tour (our guide Yaz was superb, very enthusiastic and passionate about the products on offer). At the end of the tour there was an opportunity to sample a number... More

We visited today and we were immediately impressed with the warm welcome, the enthusiasm and the knowledge of our guide, Anne. We loved the fact that we were taken all over the brewery whilst brewing was in progress. It's a lovely building, much of which inside hasn't changed in decades. There is a pub adjacent to the brewery which has... More

Excellent tour by our Tour Guide Patricia. Interesting, informative and enthusiastic. Didn't know much about Beer other than it tasted good - until today! I loved the fact that you get to walk through a working Brewery, stepping over and under a variety of obstacles! Well done for not allowing Health & Safety overkill to stop you letting the public... Started our Cornish Christmas holiday with this excellent guided tour of the St Austell Brewery. Our guide Anne was a fantastic communicator, conveying the processes of brewing, giving us everything from hands on hop sniffing to historical and present day perspectives on turning Cornish water into beer and lager. A fantastic trip that interested a teenager, 22-year old and a... More

Visited for a wedding reception and having never been or done research wasn't so sure. Boy was I wrong - brilliant venue, looked amazing and only needs table centres to give it a luxury wedding vibe. Great for and very friendly professional staff. Can't recommend it enough if your looking for a unique wedding venue. Well worth a look!

As ex-publicans we have visited many breweries over the years but this has to be the best one ever, the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered whatever was asked of them plus a very welcome drink in the bar afterward :-)

Drove down from Salisbury to do a stock up for Christmas. Shop staff were so helpful and liked a laugh. Had lunch in Hicks Bar. Great food for a good price. Service was excellent. Can't wait to visit again and do the tour. Did it two years ago but was told that it has been extended.
