Visited the St Austell brewery today with my family. Been booked for a while - decided to treat my Dad and Husband for their birthday's. Really impressed. Tour last a good 1 1/2 hours and we followed it with an equally good lunch onsite. Menu was small but good choice, food itself was very tasty - didn't disappoint and of... More

I visited the brewery on 14th August and had a wonderful time! The guided tour was brilliant and well worth the money, particularly the tasting! Anne, our guide, was very informative, friendly, welcoming and funny. Even if you do not like beer the tour is very interesting. It is a fascinating building and the history is even more so. I... My son Samuel and his lovely new wife Katie had the most fantastic wedding at the Brewery . The wedding service took place in a room that was of great interest not only to the beer connoisseur but anyone who has made their own tipple at some point in their life. After the service we went into a lovely room... More

Amazing wedding reception at the St Austell Brewery on Friday 1st August. They gave the wedding party exclusive use of Hicks Bar for the "sit down" with the Museum area for disco and evening buffet. Great food and superb staff - friendly, helpful and enthusiastic, every one of them. Thoroughly recommend this as a wedding venue.

Interesting trip to the brewery especially when it was raining, pop in to have a look at the beers, stayed nearly over 3 hours with guided tour, museum and lovely food in their cafe and if you have children they are allowed in ideal to keep them occupied on a rainy day,if you don't want to go on the tour... This is a excellent working brewery with some great tasting beer. The tour is 1 1/2 hours long and is very enjoyable, the tour guide was excellent and the tour itself was very interesting and educational and the best part was the beer tasting. £10 entry fee its more than worth it, even my wife enjoyed the tour and she's... The tour was billed as 1 1/2 hours long, cost £10 per person and included two half pints in the bar at the end. In reality the tour took around two hours and was interesting all the way round. The route starts in the brewery museum then winds its way around the working brewery - right up to the top... More

Definitely worth the visit if you drink Tribute or any other related beers of St Austell Brewery. Only problem is which I'm guessing it's like every brewery they over inflate the prices of the bottled produce but still good to visit the Museum and watch the factory line.

Had a good laugh with Mike who took us all over the brewery & tried to educate us in the art of brewing!! The tasting session was great too!! Fun thing to do when the weather's not playing ball. Good meal in the restaurant as well.

An easy walk from the train station, it was important to call to reserve a spot. Our tour was full and there are limited times per day. A complete tour of brewing process as the liquid flows through the brewery and it included some history. It was interesting on the different processes and recipes and the taste tests were a... More
