We arrived too late for a tour and would not have been permitted anyway with our baby with us but the staff were warm and welcoming, allowed us to look around the museum (very interesting) and we had half a pint afterwards. The barmaid was lovely, let us have a little taste before we chose. Beware the Big Job, it'll... More

The tour was steeped in history, hops and adulation for the current master brewer who is spoken about only in reverent tones! Beer is delicious too, especially Tribute. A fun couple of hours with an excellent beer tasting at the end. What's not to like?

Went on the tour, which we enjoyed very much, & stayed for lunch. Only had nachos & a ploughman's but it was the best ploughman's of the week. I especially enjoyed the Tribute pickle. Would definitely go back to eat & hope to take friends on the tour.

We visited St Austell brewery on our way home from a lovely weekend away in Hayle. We expected to be able to just turn up and go on a brewery tour and were a bit disappointed to find we should have called ahead to book as they were fully booked with two large parties. However we still received a very... More

Recently took the tour of the brewery, what a brilliant tour it was. From beginning to end the tour was informative and interesting. Nick, our tour guide, was great. He constantly answered questions and was brilliant with local information. So many beers to taste at the end, it makes using your two vouchers even more difficult! I would highly recommend... More

We didnt eat but am reviewing this as a pub................which it still is. Ales from St Austell brewery were lovely. Enjoyed our drinks in a lovely old bar in wonderful surroundings. I would recommend it for that reason alone.

Has become a bit of a tradition for us to visit breweries when on holiday. Today decided to visit St Austell Brewery whilst staying in Cornwall. Started off with a half of Tribute each before our tour. Nick was great, lovely character and very informative. Have been on many brewery tours but this was definitely the best. Highly recommended.

my partner Paul went round the brewery, while my mother and I stayed in the restaurant/bar. Great staff, friendly and informative. Meals were brilliant [I recommend the omelette. Pity they stopped serving at 3.30pm. I liked the idea of the tokens to buy a drink after the tour and tasting session. Paul said the Tribute was great.
