Let me start by saying a tour of the brewery followed by lunch in the visitor centre would easily warrant 6 stars if that was possible. Yes, that good. We had booked 3 days previously for our September Friday 11am tour, just as well as I formed the impression that it is very popular and limited to 12 people per... More

Called in there a little too late to have a brewery tour, but the helpful staff advised us that we could go around the museum, and no charge, to read about the history of brewery. So glad we did, many things we didn't know about. The shop is well set out and lots of lovely things to purchase, and very... More

My wife and I visited St Austell Brewery in September 2014. We have visited before but this was the first time we have gone on the Brewery Tour. The cost for the tour was £10, which consisted of a 1hr 30min tour of the Brewery and 2 Tokens for drinks after the tour. BE AWARE.. If you are visiting at... More

Was taken here on a mystery tour by my girlfriend and her parents for my birthday. I only knew where we were when we arrived. Always somewhere I've wanted to visit, unknown to me she'd booked it for a monday since they only brew on weekdays (phone to check if unsure). The visitor centre and shop stocks lots of their... We visited this brewery whilst on holiday recently. The female tour guide was excellent and clearly passionate about the brewery, its history, products and future plans. We are not great beer drinkers but found this tour really engaging, informative and interesting. This is well worth a few hours of your time, but be aware that the tour inevitably involves climbing... More

So, this tour was amazing. The beer its self is out of this world but the detail that the extremely useful female tour guide went it to was great. She really knew what she was talking about and i actually learnt a lot about the beer making process. This being said, i thought i'd mention the tasting session - extraordinary!... More

We visited St Austell Brewery whilst on holiday. The guide, Nick, was really informative and he made the tour an absolute joy. I now know a lot more about the brewing process and the difference in flavour between the different beers in the St Austell range. The tasting session where you get to try a small amount of each of... More
