Well this was an unexpected pleasure, all locals know the excellence of the fabulous beers supplied by St Austell Brewery, now being enjoyed throughout many parts of UK, as well. The excellence of the food supplied should also be trumpeted far and wide. Please give thought to becoming a really stylish evening venue. Loved it!!

This is a great brewery and well worth a visit. The tour is brilliant and well conducted. The museum is very interesting. At the end of the tour you get to try the different beers. My wife does not drink beer so sadly I had to drink her's. (save's waste). There is a very good restaurant on site and is... More

Good place to spend a couple of hours. Not only is the tour interesting they have a lovely pub and shop attached - they also do a very good line in pub lunches. So something for all the family. If you don't want to pay for the tour the pub is a very nice place to eat, staff helpful and... More

Excellent morning out, the tour was interesting and informative. An outstanding family run organisation with great commitment to its staff, it's community and the environment. Our guide, Pat was friendly and helpful, and the beers were magnificent!

A surprisingly up close and interesting tour of the brewery. We got to see all aspects of the process from raw ingredients entering the process right through to bottling and casking. The tour guide was very informative and amusing with information about the brewing process and techniques, along with history of the brewery. At the end we got to sample... More

If it's wet and windy or sunny and fine a visit to the brewery is a must. It is most definitely not a tourist rip off. The tour covers the history of the brewery as well as visiting all parts of the brewing process. Our guide Pat made the visit come alive with stories and sharing her knowledge. The tour... More

Very interesting and informative tour, good splattering of humour to from our guide Nick. You get to tour most of the brewery. The tour took a good hour and a half but it did not feel like it. Plenty of samples at the end :) Well worth a visit.

Such a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The tour was so interesting and great to walk around a working traditional brewery. A very reasonable price for what you get- plenty to taste after the tour. A big shout out to our tour guide Anne- what a little super star! So friendly and knowledgeable. Decided last minute to visit the brewery having read reviews on here. Food and service good although quite busy so was a wait for food. Enough choice on the menu including paninis and sarnies, burger, scampi and fish and chips and all reasonably priced i.e. Panini price £5.75, beef, mushroom and ale pie with chips and peas £7.95
