A chance to see how the wonderful St Austell ales are brewed and a sampling of the delights afterwards. There is also a nice little restaurant even if you have done the tour before and just want to eat and have a nice drink. There is a well stocked shop selling the range of ales but you could get some... More

Missed out on the tour - our own fault for not booking ahead and checking the times. We did however pop into the bar which was delightful. Sampling the various beers was never too much trouble to the lady who served us and after a cheeky few it was nice to be able to get some takeaways on the way... More

We arrived just too late for the last tour but a lovely lady called Pip showed us around the museum area, explained about the brewery and answered our questions. Then the best bit; the beer! We opted for the taster trays and a chaser of amazing whiskey (or is it whisky?). Sadly we were also too late for lunch but... More

Excellent trip around the brewing process from a knowledgeable guide. we stayed for lunch, very good value. warning, brewing is a vertical process, there are steep stairs up to the hopper - better to wait in the pub / restaurant perhaps and sample the beer.

Only spent n hour or so here but found it to very well alid out with loads of interesting facts about one of my favourite beers and the stories about how the staff fared in the war years were moving.. Come and see a real brewery – and sample the product. You’ll be taken around on an extended 90 minute tour that really lets you see how it’s done. There are no viewing galleries or other tricks to keep you away from the actuality of a modern business working in a confined and limiting traditional Victorian tower brewery: and that’s... More

This is a must see when visiting this part of Cornwall. The Beer is superb and served by friendly and knowledgable bar staff. There is an interesting museum and the Pint & Pasty deal is fantastic, the pasties are excellent. The Brewery shop is very well stocked for taking away plenty of beer. Excellent attraction

This is a genuine 'factory tour' of the brewery. Too often companies are scared and you don't see the real thing. On this tour about 8 of you are taken around the brewery - watch out you don't bang your head or trip over pipes etc. Enjoy tasting all their beers and finish off with a free 2 half-pints whilst...
