We stopped there to have a quick look around. We didn't have time to do the tour unfortunately. There was a tour in progress as we looked around the museum. It looked very interesting. They had some lovely gifts at good prices. The offers on the beer were excellent! Better than any supermarket!

Took the short walk from the train station to the brewery. Lovely gift shop; in addition to the choice of beers, you can select from wines and liqueurs to take home. Nice pub upstairs that leads to the museum and then the tour. The ales are fantastic. The restaurant served a Steak and Tribute pie that was flavourful, except the... More

This was a brewery visit with more than you might expect - and the guided tour is the thing. It's no good dropping in on the off chance on a wet day, they cannot cope, so book ahead. It's very well organised and Anne, our guide, was professional, lively and helpful. Our small group include two Belgians, two Australians and... More

We come to Cornwall ever year but this year, for our honeymoon, we decided to do things we've never done before. This was a great choice. Informative tour, with a fantastic guide. Food was great and the beer was wonderful (apologies for any spelling mistakes. Blaming it on the beer) Strongly recommend.

If your visiting this part of Cornwall, a guided tour round the St. Austell Brewery is a brilliant idea. Well presented, informative and covers everything in good time, which leaves you plenty of time for ale sampling and a spot of lunch afterwards. Before you leave, treat yourself to a case of their multiple award winning Big Job ale from... More

Popped in on a rainy holiday day, as other reviewers had warned, book in advance! Tours for the whole day we're all full! Doh! Instead had s mooch around the shop and s fantastic lunch in the onsite pub. The three glass taster set for £3.45 a pop is a great way of trying the ales. Friendly knowledgeable staff and... More

Did the brewery tour and had lunch last year, definetely worth doing when in Cornwall. Attended a wedding reception last week, great beers, lovely food, very attentive staff and a great atmosphere.

Had a brilliant trip round the brewery lead by the very funny and very knowledgable Nick. Loved the tradition and the fact that St Austell Brewery hadn't lost their sense of the way things were. Lots of steps, and a few pipes, but nothing we couldn't handle. Finishing off with some supping of their finest. Yummy! Phlinc yubs glurrr! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
