Top marks to Koru. Kayaks very stable, although sea was pretty calm. Guide Tom was friendly, fun and with good local knowledge. Never felt in any danger with my 8year old son, couldn't have enjoyed it more. SCENERY WAS SPECTACULAR. NOT TO BE MISSED. Easy to book online.

The kayaking experience was far more than the name 'Koru' could even begin to describe the beauty of the trip. The unfurling, of what I thought would be a good trip, turned out to be full of eerie caves, The Prison, cliffs all coloured by minerals, copper and iron. To top it all Silverback the seal accompanied us for some... More

Party of 3 with two kids age 10 went from St Agnes on the lunch time kayaking experience. We rang in the morning and spoke to Hetty who was lovely and booked us on the trip and explained where to park, costs and other questions I had. When we got there we were greeted by Dan and Tom who explained... More

My wife and kids decided that we simply had to go kayaking from the Budock Vean Hotel, where we are staying while on holiday. Not being what you might describe as a "water baby",I was somewhat less enthusiastic. However, I now wish that I had lost my kayaking virginity long ago since the 2 hours spent canoeing along Frenchman's Creek... More

The whole experience was fantastic. We were a party of two adults and two children. Hetty our guide was lovely. The trip was perfect, so calming and beautiful. The children loved every second. We did Frenchmans creek, and even managed a swim. Perfect all round.

My sister organised a kayaking trip for my Hen do and we had such a great time- beautiful scenery and a brilliant way to spend the morning. We launched from the little beach at the Budock Vean hotel (which really suited the 3 non-kayakers as they spent a couple of hours in the spa instead!) and kayaked up Frenchman's creek,... More

Went kayaking with friends with Koru Kayaking this week. Dan took us out and was a brilliant teacher and guide. None of us had kayaked before and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will certainly be recommending Koru to all our family and friends.

I went kayaking on the Helford river with guide Dan. We departed from the foreshore of the Budock Vean hotel and had an amazing 2 hours kayaking along the river up to Frenchman's Creek. Saw some wonderful sights and Dan had great knowledge of the area. I really cannot wait to return to Cornwall next summer to do it again.... More

We went kayaking along the Helford/Frenchmans creek yesterday with Tom as our guide, an excellent two hours, highly recommended! The area is beautiful, lots of opportunities for wildlife spotting, we landed on a couple of small beaches too to look at an abandoned wrecked boat & enjoy a quick refreshing paddle! Tom had lots of interesting local knowledge & facts... More
