Amazingly beautiful and peaceful 1 1/2 hour river cruise around the Helford. We saw egrets, buzzards, a heron. Hettie was full of information, from the history and fiction of Frenchman's Creek, to the oyster farming, to celebrity visitors. And we had a stunning walk down through the Hotel gardens to the boat. Plenty of parking at the Hotel, which does... More

Wow! It was just the three of us, Andy, Hattie (guide) and me. The weather was perfect, river calm and Frenchmans Creek was deserted. Hattie guided us to secluded swimming spots, Kylie Minogue' singing branch (google it!) and a £2million oyster farm. Hattie was funny, informative and loves her job! Frenchmans Crek is stunning and we will return in November.... More

Of the 2 tours offered, we took Frenchman's Creek thinking it would be more sheltered than the coastal tour around St. Agnes. We had a FANTASTIC time! Wet suits and safety gear was all provided with the tour and the 2 person kayaks are easy to paddle and manouver. Pictures were uploaded to Facebook so we were able to relive... More

Tom gave us an wonderful experience, with excellent lightweight kayaks, through the rocks , caves and caverns and beaches not accessible by any other means. We swam with a friendly silver backed seal very close. Have recommended this to a family member travelling down later this summer, they have booked it too!. Photos - all 118 arrived on a disc... My 7 year old son and I had only been kayaking once before and were still unsure if we actually liked it ... until Koru changed all that. Indy was shouting "I love this!" after paddling for about 10 seconds! We went in and out of little caves, got out and jumped off rocks into the sea, fell out of... More

Monday 8th of June - 10:00am approx high tide in the Helford river, This is our second adventure with Koru, This time we opted for the south coast and met Tom from Koru at the Budveen hotel boathouse. The tide and conditions were absolutely perfect for our adventure on the Helford river and paddle up into Frenchman's creek, being high... More

One of the highlights of our Cornish holiday. Kayaking along the picturesque coastline around St. Agnes, visiting hidden coves where seals bob around was a wonderful experience. Tom was a great guide and made us all feel at ease, his knowledge of the area meant that not only did we see a lot but we learned a lot too. The... More

Me and my partner had a super time on the Frenchman's Creek adventure - bundles of enthusiasm from instructors Guy and Hetty who had lots of knowledge between them on local trivia and he surrounding wildlife. It was a beautiful location and a very leisurely paddle. I'd recommend this trip to anyone whilst in the area, and would have also... More
