Our boat SeaXplorer is a 9m RIB which seats 12 passengers and is based at Rock on the Camel Estuary just over the river from Padstow. We meet at our office on the Rock pontoon and then away to sea for a boat trip of a lifetime.We run boat trips to various locations from Rock out towards Newquay or Bude and regularly see wildlife such as Basking Sharks, Dolphins, Porpoises, Seals, Sun Fish and all sorts of sea birds including Puffins. We carry several pairs of binoculars on board so you can see them all up close.Your skipper holds a Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboat Certificate and is a trained Zoologist.The tours run for approximately 2 hours and cost £40 per adult and £30 per child under 14. Life jackets are provided. We do recommend bringing a warm layer, a waterproof jacket and trousers and this summer perhaps some sun cream. In particularly wet weather we can provide full waterproofs. « less

The two hour trip from Rock is an exhilarating high speed Rigid Inflatable Boat trip. We saw a large pod of dolphins close up, islands, coastal rocks, coves and caves. The experience was greatly enhanced by the guides expertise and fund of stories. A camera and binoculars would be useful, but the boat does provide a pair of binoculars. You... More

My boyfriend and I went out from Rock on the 3rd Sept for my Birthday treat! It wasn't the best weather, bit drizzly and overcast but we soon forgot about that when we were surrounded by dolphins! It was great, Matt our guide knew all the signs to look out for and so ensured we tracked down the different pods... More

We have recently returned from our holiday in Cornwall where we had taken the powerboat trip from Rock. The sea was very calm and the weather lovely and sunny. We had a great RIB safari in Rock last friday, whilst we got pretty wet (it was sunny but v windy and choppy) it was great to see the stunning coastline from the sea and all the wildlife.
