Perranporth beach is a good large flat beach. Bar on the beach. Great for surfing and belly boarding. Lifeguards in attendance. Shops nearby and super markets

I have been coming here since a child, so I may be biazed, but I think this is a beautiful beach and area. Only downside is the amount of dogs now, but the views compensate for it. 3 miles of sand who needs more. Only downside is parking. The beach carpark keeps going up and there are not many places... A nice popular beach which is obviously a hit with families, surfers etc. It has the feel of the surfing lifestyle of that area. The beach was clean, tidy and was being raked and cleaned when we visited early one morning to catch the sunrise. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer and I got several beautiful pictures which the golden... More

The beach was clean, very wide and had lovely fine sand. The water was nice and warm on the edge, great for a paddle.

We parked in the beach car park (pay per hour) on the worst weather day of our holiday and the dogs had a great walk. However the buildings on the beach are under repair and the whole area was very dusty and untidy. They were working on these buildings last year when we came - it's about time they were... More

We have both enjoyed several holidays in Perranporth separately and then together since the mid 1960's so a trip down memory lane is always a delight. After a preliminary reconnoitre together the previous evening, my wife spent four hours in the town and walking along the beach while I was working at Treliske. Happy days!

Not only glorious sand, and fantastic waves for body boarding, but the huge added attraction of The Watering Hole pub on the beach !
