Perranporth Beach is possibly the best beach in the whole world! It's got everything, lovely sand, dunes, stepping stones, clean water, great surf, rock pools, cliffs (just be careful of those) and the only real pub-on-the-beach in the UK (The Watering Hole (Google it!)). They serve great food, often have live music (usually free depending on who it is, Billy... More

This beach is a great beach and it is very big. Great for surfing and cheap parking. Nice shops nearby and a great day out for all ages as there is something for everyone

You have to visit, it's a beach where you think; what more could I want? It's clean, the views are incredible, there is plenty to do for all the family and it's a long stretch of beach

A lovely stretch of beach leading to the cliffs on the other side which offer great views of the surrounding area. Meet the locals out walking their dogs and enjoy the Atlantic breeze!

We love this beach,it is huge at low tide and you can walk for miles, love it even more during the winter when the weather is wild and the waves are crashing. And you have the place virtually to yourself .great local beach.

I went here on a family holiday myself my 2 year old son and my parents, safe to say it is the best beach i have been to! It has a mini brooke down to the sea which was perfect for my son to paddle in and for me to feel he was safe without having all the worries every... More

Great open space and beautiful sandy beach. We took our dogs this week and the beach was nearly empty. This is our favourite beach around Cornwall and can't recommend it highly enough.

We travel to Cornwall and this is by far the best beach. The Waterhole pub is set actually ON the beach, there are plenty of local shops and amenities just off it, the car park is right next to the beach, as are the toilets and the beach is at street level so you don't have to walk down cliff... This is a popular spot with surfers and tourists and people who love beautiful beaches. The sand is golden and stretches on and on; the sea was calm and sapphire blue on the day we visited. It was also very peaceful and uncrowded on a sunny weekday in May. We found parking on the street.
