We are staying in the area so thought we would check this place out. Loved it! The birds have a funny sense of humour and they love to have a chat and a dance to music. The meerkats are good fun, could spend ages watching them. We spent just over an hour here and felt it was good value for... More

On our recent trip to Cornwall we arrived at our accommodation too early to check in, so we went to Wingz for a few hours. The park is small, but it well-maintained and has a nice selection of birds, as well as meerkats and small mammals. There is cafe and childrens play area as well. The park clearly cannot compare... A great little sanctuary with lots of birds that they have re-homed. Parrots are talkative with one that will dance to music, there are also small mammals like wallabies and raccoon dogs, but it was the meerkats that captured our hearts. reasonable admission and for a few pounds you can purchase some feed for the ducks and mealworms for the... Wonderful small sanctuary. Amazing what this couple and a few volunteers do for these birds and animals that would otherwise be harmed or put to sleep, and all through admission and donation funding. Great for small kids. Parrots talk to you as you go around and the meercats come up close.

I recently visited this small zoo and was highlight impressed by the quality of enclosures and number of species for a small zoo. There was lots to see including small parrots, larger parrots, cranes, owls, meerkats common marmosets, wallabies and raccoon dogs. If you ran to visit a quiet zoo off the beaten track, I would highly recommend this zoo.

It's a nice thing to kill time but it's very quick to get around. Some gardening does need to be done, bushes grass all over grown in cages. But meerkats were brilliant... They go crazy for mealworms which you can but a pot for £1 at reception. They can even get out the enclosure and come and eat out of... More

After seeing such good reviews my partner and I went for a visit, mainly for the meerkats. Admission was reasonable and it all helps towards the running cost. We also bought some food for the ducks and meekats. Theres quite a few birds, all very healthy looking and some are very interactive. The meerkats can get out but sometimes they... More

Wingz is a brilliant place for a visit for all ages of visitor. Follow the decked pathways around the meandering grounds and spot the various birds and waterfowl as you go. We were followed by a crazy little crested bantam who was eager for a few crumbs of duck food (buy a bag on the way in) and my 1... More

Went to wingz today with my one year old daughter and our friend and her 13 month old. The facilities are clean, safe and suitable for young children. The walkways are perfect for new walkers and allow fantastic views into all enclosures. The animals have spacious pens and are clearly well cared for. The meerkats were the highlight of the... More
