Twin wires cross the flooded depths of the old quarry, sheer cliffs rise on either side. The Zip is the only place in the UK where you can just turn up and jump. NO NEED TO BOOK! No fuss, no pre-booking, no hours of waiting around – we throw you off our cliff within minutes of arrival. We're easy to find, just off the A38 main road. THE GIANT SWING: IT WILL LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS. Perched at the top of our cliffs, The Giant Swing hangs 50ft off the ground, 150ft over water. You’re hoisted to 80° then plunged 3-at-a-time over the lake. Just when you think there’s no turning back, you pull out of the dive and experience zero gravity, before doing it all again – backwards. First reactions (after recovery time): ‘I was floating on air for 20 minutes afterwards.’ ‘The most amazing thing I’ve ever done.’ ‘Awesome!’ ‘Someone’s gonna pay for this!’. ‘I want to go home now’.No need to book this either! Suitable for all ages 5 - 96 JUMP RIGHT OFF THE CLIFFS INTO OUR LAKE! COASTEERING with THE BLOB at Adrenalin Quarry is unique. Check out our videos and snaps on facebook. We’re the first coasteering venue where the action’s all freshwater and children aged 10 or more can join in. We’re the only coasteering venue in the world where you feel like you’re on the set of Jurassic Park.Go wild swimming, traverse rockfaces, climb sheer cliffs then jump no-strings-attached into the lake. There’s always a safety boat on the water and BCF/SLSGB-qualified coasteering instructors guide you all the way. We’re also fully AALA registered. All this plus free entry, amazing views, bring your picnic and watch all the action from the viewing decks or down by the lake. Pets on leads are welcome, we're easy to find right by the A238 main road. « less

My son had been on at us to visit this attraction for a few years but we always thought it was a bit of a drive from Newquay just for the zip wire and swing. We did however eventually cave in and on an overcast day with nothing else to do we decided to go. The swing was really good,... More

Brilliant and exhilarating day. Unfortunately DVD coverage was faulty and initial part of jumping from platform not filmed. Staff so lovely and friendly, gave me an extra go! I'll be back to try next challenge soon!Would recommend this to anyone x

We visited the adrenaline quarry with family who were down for the weekend. We only did the zip wire because we thought £25 each for the zip wire & swing was a bit excessive. At £12.50pp I wouldn't do it again.

We visited adenalin quarry in August to ride on the zip wire there. The zipwire was such a great experience, I think it should be a bit cheaper though if I'm honest because it is over in the matter of 30 seconds. Also the video passes (you show it before you get on and they video it for you and... More

Last day of our holiday in Cornwall, and whilst travelling back to Berkshire we (as planned) stopped at Adrenalin Quarry to JUMP OF A CLIFF. As climbing instructors this is something a little different to what we normally do. £12.50 per jump per person. Well worth the money for the experience. Efficient and pleasant staff. Will recommend to anyone visiting... More

Really enjoyed our morning at adrenaline quarry, my 6 year old son loved the zip wire, you feel like your flying over the lake it's lovely!, we also went on the giant swing which was great fun but scarier than it looks!, to the previous reviewer who thought everything was 'lame' did you not actually do any research on the... 7 of us spent a lot of money for what essentially was 2 minutes of fairly lame experiences. Ok for those that never do adrenalin challenges but far too safe for those of us who are looking for real thrills. However the staff were polite and helpful and very safety conscious but the experience was a tad lame.

A fun diversion for an hour or two ( watch out the queue's can be quite long! we waited an hour after "check-in") Very enthusiastic staff, a nicely kitted out site, considering the it is a long walk from one end of the wire to the other but then it would be! Maybe a shuttle bus would make you more... More

An older couple with two adult son's and recently worried about becoming a bit safe in our lifestyle so decided to go down the zip wire to shake things up a bit. I hate heights, rollercoasters et al so was a tad nervous but determined. It was brilliant! Went way too fast. Staff were excellent and the only negative was... More

I went here today with three of my friends to do the ice bucket challenge, and what a success it was. The staff were totally amazing and accommodating, the video was brilliant, we did the ice bucket challenge off the zip wire and although I have a morbid fear of heights and suffer from vertigo the staff made us feel...
