Twin wires cross the flooded depths of the old quarry, sheer cliffs rise on either side. The Zip is the only place in the UK where you can just turn up and jump. NO NEED TO BOOK! No fuss, no pre-booking, no hours of waiting around – we throw you off our cliff within minutes of arrival. We're easy to find, just off the A38 main road. THE GIANT SWING: IT WILL LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS. Perched at the top of our cliffs, The Giant Swing hangs 50ft off the ground, 150ft over water. You’re hoisted to 80° then plunged 3-at-a-time over the lake. Just when you think there’s no turning back, you pull out of the dive and experience zero gravity, before doing it all again – backwards. First reactions (after recovery time): ‘I was floating on air for 20 minutes afterwards.’ ‘The most amazing thing I’ve ever done.’ ‘Awesome!’ ‘Someone’s gonna pay for this!’. ‘I want to go home now’.No need to book this either! Suitable for all ages 5 - 96 JUMP RIGHT OFF THE CLIFFS INTO OUR LAKE! COASTEERING with THE BLOB at Adrenalin Quarry is unique. Check out our videos and snaps on facebook. We’re the first coasteering venue where the action’s all freshwater and children aged 10 or more can join in. We’re the only coasteering venue in the world where you feel like you’re on the set of Jurassic Park.Go wild swimming, traverse rockfaces, climb sheer cliffs then jump no-strings-attached into the lake. There’s always a safety boat on the water and BCF/SLSGB-qualified coasteering instructors guide you all the way. We’re also fully AALA registered. All this plus free entry, amazing views, bring your picnic and watch all the action from the viewing decks or down by the lake. Pets on leads are welcome, we're easy to find right by the A238 main road. « less

Visited as a family of five, children's ages 5 - 14. Everyone had a great time; the older kids (14 &12) coasteering, and 5yr old Ethan on the zip. The zip was well run; we had no hesitation entrusting Ethan to the staff. Ethan, and his Mum, loved it and he can't wait to go again. Likewise, the Coasteering was... More

We visited with our 3 kids (12,10 & 5). Kids and husband were very enthusiastic to go. Me less so as I'm a happy-to-admit scaredy cat :o) Got a family ticket as was the same price for 5 as it would be for 4. Wasn't sure if our 5 year old would be able to go on the zip wire... More

Do the zip before the giant swing as it seems tame by comparison although it is one of the longest in the UK. Coasteering and the blob was fun - staff are friendly and helpful and you aren't pushed too hard into any jumps you're not comfortable with (it can be painful if you get you're entry into the water... Had a great family day out, special thanks to Will, who talked 'one of us' down on the zip wire. It was so good we all had a second go on the zip wire. The younger boys also tried out the BIG SWING, awesome. Only wished I had the nerve to have a go. The people enjoying the coasterring looked... More

Saw an advert for this place a couple of years ago but didn't check it out. Returning to Cornwall this summer we looked it up and decided to give the zip wire a go. We turned up last Saturday (9th Aug) and jumped. Two 46 year olds and a 12 year old. We loved it. So much so we returned... More

The Zip was great, so much fun we went down twice! We followed it up by a swim in the lake, which was glorious, and well worth a visit alone. Free parking and fantastic watching the people coasteering, zipping and swinging whilst we sunbathed and swam. The site would benefit from some type of taxi service back up to the... More
