We have been to this venue on several occasions. We have experienced a 'Normal visit' and thoroughly enjoyed that. We then also experienced another visit comprising of a 'Crystal and Crafts Show' . We have also been to a 'Tribute Show' and thoroughly enjoyed that. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely few hours here. I like the fact it is self guided so you don't have to rush. Not too long so the children didn't get bored or tired and the underground pool is beautiful. Well worth a visit.

The caverns are part of an old slate mine. We were given hard hats and a torch for emergencies, and given clear instructions on where to go. The caverns were spectacular, the main attraction being the large pool which is beautifully lit. There are various information points telling you the history of the mines, and a display of gems/minerals which... More

We visited the Caverns for a few hours while on the way to Looe (also worth a visit). The Caverns are tucked away in the woods near Trago Mills (over hyped). Before entering the Caverns we were greeted by and given clear instructions on what to do when in the Caverns and with regard to the site by an extremely... More

A busy attraction, arrived mid morning, lots of visitors..so had a 20 minute wait before being able to go into the cavern, this was for the safety reasons. We had a brief safety talk and run down of what to expect. Each 'party' was given a torch and safety hat with an information card. The caverns are self guided,so you... More

The 'caverns' or mine as it really is, is very small and a little disappointing although you can see from the sheer number of tea lights and church candles around it must a great place to get married. There are a few information boards and we were surprised how it was historically a relatively safe place to work compared with... More

This mining cave doesn't go amazingly deep, and there is one pool there rather than underground rivers and the likes. This is obviously a general public thing whereas you would get the better experience on a pot holing adventure. However, there are several walks around it and a couple of shops selling garden or fantasy bits and bobs as well... More

Beautiful, picturesque site. The caverns are atmospheric and stunning and there are dog-friendly walks on site. The staff could not have been more knowledgable and helpful.

We visited Carnglaze caverns, as it was not far from where we were staying and it was definitely worth visiting and somewhere we all agreed we would go back to again. It was excellent value for money and the self guided tour meant we could take our time. The large lake is beautiful and worth seeing when there is no... More
