My wife and I visited Carnglaze Caverns earlier this month. We loved Carnglaze and it was a highlight of our tour of north Cornwall. A visit will interest many adults and children - especially those whose parents are keen to introduce them in the wonders of the world around us. Carnglaze is a former slate quarry and mine which ceased... More

Visited with our 9 month old baby. Great little adventure for us, the information sheets round the cave were good. The mother lake was beautiful. Good baby changing facilities

I really thought these caverns were worth a look. They were very interesting and unusual. I do think the torches need to be brighter. I understand they don't want them too bright because they may disturb the bats, but they were not even bright enough to see the cavern walls that were fairly close. The biggest disappointment was that the... More

We noticed while driving to the caverns the entrance would be quite small for large 4x4. We have a small hatchback and found it a bit of a tight squeeze. Upon our arrival we walked to the main cabin to purchase our tickets. The lady there was very friendly and informative regarding our visit. We walked into the first Cavan... More

I really liked it here. We arrived and the lady at the front desk was really lovely and informative. We headed in and let our eyes adjust to the light in the first cavern. In here there are loads of different rocks/crystals etc from around the world to look at as well as information boards about this bit. We headed... More

Gosh what a let down. We came on a nice sunny late morning. Paid at the little kiosk, were handed a torch, cardboard map with supposed Health & Safety instructions and a hard hat !! We made our way to the caverns, once inside it was fairly dark as you would expect, we walked into the first cavern and had... More

We went to see The Cavern Beatles at The Rum Store. The band were very good, but this is about the venue. When we booked we told Caroline (owner) that we needed a disabled parking space and would have one of the party in a wheelchair. As usual, we just gave the guy on the gates our name and were... More

The staff were friendly and informative. The cavern was interesting but it only took us about half an hour to walk round the whole thing including time spent reading information and taking pictures on the way round. There was an outdoor walk you could do but we opted not to. An interesting place but not enough to make a day... More

We had a 2 for 1 voucher to get in but even that help make this value for money. The cave is amazing but it's a cave and I've seen much better and paid less. The website makes it seem much better than it actually is. Although there were information points around the cave, there weren't enough of them and... More
