Perfect place to visit on a wet and windy day. We were lucky that for most of our trip we were the only ones there. The light switch on for the mother pool is amazing - I really was not expecting that. Good information on signage and very friendly lady on the door. She mentioned to us that in better... More

Interesting caves, very peaceful by the big pool, could of sat there for hours! We managed to spot the very cute hibernating bats! Nice woodland walk outside. Helpful friendly staff and a nice little gift shop.

I have visited here more than once and you just can't beat the friendly owners. I know what to expect now, yet, it never fails to impress me still. Very pretty, very interesting and very peaceful. Perfect place to stop by if you have a little time to relax and detox. It's not stressful to walk around, you do not... More

Unlike another reviewer I think this is a really interesting place to visit. I don't think it was expensive and I found the owner really friendly, welcoming and helpful. But I guess we are all different. We visited on a wet morning and we were the first people there. Our four year old was a bit apprehensive initially but she... More

We visited with our two children aged 6 and 9. Our 9 year old is interested in mining and rocks and they both enjoyed exploring underground and seeing the lake. We went on the woodland walk even though it was raining. Our 6 year old loved spotting all the fairies. It was a bit muddy but we had wellies and... More

We went in the daytime to look round then again in the evening for a music tribute. There is nothing much to see in the day and it is expensive for what little there is. The evening included the owner giving out lots of boring information when the band should have been on stage then again after the interval when... More

It was freezing cold in there, so watching a gig is a poor experience. (The band said they were so cold their voices and instruments did not work at all well! ) We got dripped on with freezing cold water all evening and where they get the ''10 degrees all year round from'' is beyond me. Everyone was wrapped up... More

Have to say that this is my favourite place to hear live music. As a venue it will never be able to host concerts by Superstars as it is not large enough or able to be licensed for large numbers. I have been a few times normally for tribute bands but also for a classical guitarist and the evergreen Suzie... More

We recently attended the Talon concert, we've seen them many times before, they were excellent as usual. However our evening was completely ruined by a small number of other attendees. These could and should have been dealt with by security. Before the event the owner kindly asked the audience to only leave their seats between songs, quite rightly, this was... More
