My sons's wedding was held here. Caroline and her staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a great time. Hog roast caterers were excellent. Beautiful place both inside and outside, well worth a visit.

OK if you like (small) caves -- not much to keep children interested -- but if there is a concert on then it is a good place for acoustics

Having a dislike of underground things I was rather apprehensive about this especially after being told we had to wear hard hats! It was however spectacular especially the underground lake. It doesn't take too long to go round and there is also a forest walk and some gardens to see.

My husband wanted to visit Carnglaze and I went along not expecting it to really be "my thing". However what a surprise! The lady in the reception kiosk was very friendly and informative. The cavern was quite fascinating and the informatiion notes along the way gave the history of those working the mines, which was very interesting and thought provoking.... More

Definitely the first wedding we have been to in a cave and also the first time we have been to a reception in one. Extremely practical less agro on transport as all in one place and less formality so no pretentious time wasting as previous weddings we have been too. My kids loved the place and the surrounding gardens with... More

This large underground cavern is a great setting for a concert with interesting acoustics and a reasonably intimate overall seating area. I have seen Hawkwind and the Bad Shepherds here, and latterly Toyah. They all seemed to enjoy the setting and with a bar and fast food outlet also, you have everything that you need for a great night out.... More

We visited the Caverns which were quite interesting. We were given a yellow hard hat to wear and a torch. We walked in the cavern saw some interesting educational items and then we made the walk down to the bottom of the cave on the stone stairway. The lake was the prettiest thing we had seen when the lights were... More

This could of been so much more but the whole thing is 20 years out of date and a massive let down. even the mother pool something that could of been overwhelming is left with so little lighting half of the cave is in shadow and that ins so disappointing and under sold. This could and should be so much... More
