We recently attended the Talon concert, we've seen them many times before, they were excellent as usual. However our evening was completely ruined by a small number of other attendees. These could and should have been dealt with by security. Before the event the owner kindly asked the audience to only leave their seats between songs, quite rightly, this was... More

A hidden gem ,we went to a talon concert ,as I have a disability I would risk the cold and damp ,I needn't have worried ,the staff were excellent easy parking and it was actually colder outside than in the cavern ,the acoustics were fantastic ,the concert very professional and tight ,it was quirky the group had to walk past... Have seen Talon before , great band would definitely see them again NOT however at Carnglaze Caverns , the evening was spoilt by the constant stream of people going back and forth to the bar , have not experienced this in any other seated music venue , it was at times impossible to see the stage as completely hidden by... After visiting these caverns last year we booked our wedding at the underground lake. The cave is so beautiful, our wedding was 10 days ago, it appeared magical, Caroline and graham who own the caves are such lovely helpful people, who accommodated all my ideas. The night before the wedding myself and my mum and bridesmaids attended the yearly whizz... More

Spent an hour at the attraction. Caverns were ok 20 mins to look around. Woodland walk was nice, quite steep but it was nice to stretch our legs. Staff very friendly and helpful, would have liked to have been able to go to one of the concerts they have there.

Slightly quirky old-style tourist attraction, but well worth a visit to explore the caves, especially when they have one of their many special events on.

This is an underground slate quarry. My favourite part of it was that we were allowed to explore on our own, and enjoy the experience in our own quiet way, without being lectured or hustled by guides. The owner greeted us, and was very welcoming and informative, and there were geological displays and information boards explaining the processes in each... More

Loved going into the cavern on a self guided tour. Not very long but was reasonably priced and everything was explained well. The mother pool was amazing. I loved the woodland walk with all the fairies! The staff were very friendly. Would definitely return.
