woo...hoooo...just Amaaazzzing. we clocked 9.30am and beach was quiet with cool breeze... very romantic.... St. Ives bay and walked towards Godrevy as much as we could. excellent for surf boarding and learning. Parking charges are reasonable. however, the National Trust is a £5 all day..I found it too much as i didnt have full day plans.

Lovely walks, great views and free parking if your National Trust Member. See the Seals and spend time rock pooling at low tide. Sandy beach but rocky so be warned. But don't get locked in the top field !!

Nice car park with lovely views over the water. A walk of about 1/4 mile takes you to a cliff top where you can look down and observe seals basking. Ice cream cart in attendance in car park all summer.

Clean sands, spacious bay for walks or bathing also surfing. Nice sheltered rocks for sitting out of breeze.

Beatiful place to walk, we parked at the Gwithian car park, ate our lunch on the beach and then walked to the head opposite the lighthouse. Good cliff or beach walks and breathtaking views of the lighthouse

Some of the best cliff-top views in Cornwall. The walk from Hells Mouth to Godrevy and back again is about three mile round trip. Excellent!

I went here last year when we were being hit by huge storms, the waves hitting the beach were just like tsunamis, its also a very nice beach to visit in the summer with family. I recommend staying in the nearby town of St. Ives. Its very nice.

This place is right at the top end of the beach not too keen as quite pebbly and not much going on but very picturesque on an evening when the surfs up!

A super spot for walkers, surf boarders and beach lovers with a sandy beach and do not forget to pay a visit to Sally's national trust ice cream van to round your visit off.
