One of my favourite spots on earth - a short walk over the headland to see the seals basking in the cove or walk along the sandy beach to Gwithian. Sit on the cliffs with an ice cream or make sand sculptures. Take pictures of the lighthouse or just stare at the crashing breakers... I am happy there in all... More

Our first visit back to Godrevy for a few years was in 2014, and the view is as excellent as always. We did find however that access to the site is now less accommodating as past years. The main field where you have to park has been blocked off from the cliff edge so you can no longer just sit... More

This National Trust park is absolutely gorgeous with fantastic walks and lovely beaches. We visited inbetween Christmas and New Year and were delighted to find lots of seals in a sheltered cove. Well worth a visit. In winter the parking is free but the loos are closed!

I have walked this headland every week for the last 2 years and am never disappointed. Throughout May & June the wild flowers are stunning, definitely my favourite time of year. The Coast is always lovely, sometimes with rough seas & sometimes gentle. A walk around the headland usually allows you to view the seals. During February 2013 I watched... More

This is a lovely walk and not to hard going, the views are brilliant all around and seeing the seals was a highlight. It is good to note though that the best times for seeing the seals is the autumn and winter months rather than spring and summer, also low tide is better than high tide. Some great wildlife seen... Fine place for a sunset. Close to parking for the less mobile visitors & good coastal walks for the more adventurous

Brilliant, fantastic. It is always wonderful to sit and watch the surf break over the light house. The walks over the headland are super. Wonderful views. Every time I have been there have been seals out swimming just off the beach. Walking over the headland you get to Seal Cove where there are seals on the beach in the cove.... More

In our search for the perfect beach, we decided to try the much recommended Godrevy Head, just up the coast from Hayle. There's lots of parking, though if you're not an NT member, it is quite expensive. Toilets are functional though I did struggle to find a litter bin anywhere. Short walk from car park to beach, which is a... More

We've been here many times over the years and it really is well worth visiting the views are stunning and there are lovely cliff walks and not too steep in places. The light house is on a tiny island just off shore, but it isn't possible to visit it. There is a cafe in the first car park which serves... More
