We enjoyed the beach at Godrevy, but we're told by a traveller that there is a seal colony that can be seen from the far car park. This is an easy stroll from the top car park. Parking is just £4 for the day and allows you to move between and park in both car parks without further charge. I... More

The best spot we found for a wander along the stunning north Cornwall coastline. As NT members we we noticed this place in the book and visited after an afternoon on Hayle beach just down the coast. Enjoyed watching the seals followed by the obligatory ice cream and then stopped in the lower car park for another trip to the... More

Not a lot to say it was stunning, I could have stayed there for ages watching the sea, it was freezing cold however, this did not stop us walking and walking and my little boy was soaked but had lots of fun and looking for stones and shells, My only complaint was there was a lot of dog mess among... Breath taking coastline, fabulous views of our magnificent seals. Take binoculars to view more seals at the edge of the lighthouse. Experienced fit wheelchair users could with assistance get to the seal bay view point via the path straight out the back of the last car park. I've done harder paths with a manual chair as the pusher! I just... More

We visited here 3 times during our week long stay. The weather was very windy, but we still had a fantastic visit. There were at least 50 seals to spot down in the cove. Will have to come back when the weather is a bit better so we can soak in the views without fear of being blown over the... More

We were fortunate to visit this stunningly beautiful stretch of coastline on a glorious Spring day. There were over 100 seals and pups enjoying the sunshine in the cove below to the delight of a large number of onlookers with cameras and binoculars. This NT beauty spot gets madly busy in the high season so come out of season and... More

We were recommended a trip to Godrevy point to see some seals and we weren't disappointed. The National Trust staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly, and the walk along the coast was very beautiful, and not too taxing. We saw approximately 20 seals, some in the water, others in the cove. We could have sat there for hours. Definitely... More

Godrevy Head was one of the places many years ago that made us fall in one with Cornwall. This visit, some 25 years after our first one, was just as inspiring. Whilst walking along the cliff tops a skylark flew high above us just completing a perfect afternoon. If you are a member of the National Trust parking is free,... More

saw the seals in the water great, the car park still charges £4.00 but we joined the National Trust so we did not need to pay but we did need to show the card. the ice cream van only comes out if weather is fine.

Took the South-West Coastal Pathway from Hayle to Godrevy Head. This took 2-3 hours on a bright but breezy day and was well worth it. I hadn't realised that there was any part of Britain where you could walk on sandy beaches for over 2 hours in one direction and still not reach the end! We alternated between the coastal... More
