This was our whole point of going down to Boscastle as I really wanted to visit this museum. It was very quaint but enormously interesting. Well worth a visit even if you aren't a pagan etc. Unfortunately the children inside had no repsect for the displays and parents didn't accost them when signs were deliberatly disobeyed.

The museum was recommended to us by locals and friends alike so on the second day of our stay in boscastle we decided to check it out. It is a brilliant treasure trove of artefacts and history we both learned a lot from reading the fascinating information displayed. Really well set and out loved the way it challenges and explains... I saw a few reviews on trip advisor and thought we'd give it a whirl. Well we weren't disappointed. A small fee to enter and at first we thought it wasn't going to be up to much. We were very suprised though. Who knew that dead cats were hidden in houses or why and that some Christian symbology is derived... More

There is so much to see in this museum and if you have an ipad then you can get a discount for the ticket...you need at least 2 hours to get round everything and to take it all in. History buffs will love this place but it doesn't seem to popular with the locals - they think it's scary and... More

A beautiful collection of artifacts here and a very warm feeling inside the museum. It was like I was being transported to another plane. The 'quiet area' next to the exit was stunning - I'd love a space like for daily reflection. I've been interested in magic, nature and the supernatural since I was a young child and, since I... A very wet day so thought we would spend some time in the dry. However pleasantly surprised with the content of the museum. Exhibits from all areas of the subject , so having anticipated a half hour out of the rain spent an hour and a half thoroughly interested. Well worth a visit

Interesting collection, stayed about an hour lots to see, had no idea so many rituals and beliefs. Be open minded!. I went especially as working my way around the country following B**llocks to Alton Towers book, with different days out.

Well worth the admission fee with lots to read and see. The museum offers something a little different but is informative and interesting. At peak times be prepared to queue, as it can get busy and there can be the odd hold up as there is plenty to read. A real one off!
