However, this museum is very small, meaning even when it's not all that busy (a sunny Tuesday when most people are out exploring the harbour), it feels very crowded. This is particularly an... More

Entertaining three teenage girls on vacation in Cornwall was always going to be somewhat of a challenge.....particularly since the weather this week has been atrociously poor. However, this museum had the whole family enthralled. There is a vast collection of material in a smallish building covering a wide range of people, objects, art and text associated with witchcraft. Smaller children... More

Really fascinating place, so many different items to see and learn about, you could spend hours in there reading about everything. Enjoyed every minute. I think people leaving poor reviews, especially those comparing it to the likes of the natural history museum, are totally unfair. This place is magical in its own right, and whether you believe in magick or... More

We visited this museum after a chance find whilst searching for places to visit on an upcoming visit to cornwall. We. I sited late in the afternoon - about 2 hours before closing and we also had a voucher for £1 off the entry fee from a tourist leaflet. The museum is small and in hindsight we would have done... Fantastic place, The day was almost like a pilgrimage for me! I spent a lot of time in this lovely museum just trying to read and absorb everything, the rest of the family had got a bit fed up and had wondered off. I have to go back and spend many more hours there.
