We have been here twice. The first time there was pig racing and a varied programme of activities like allowing kids to cuddle rabbits and Guinea pigs. Unfortunately on our 2nd visit there were no such events, but we still enjoyed it all the same. The bird flight display was great, and the lady who demonstrated them was great, giving... More

Visited with three of my grandchilden, they particularly enjoyed the owl and hawk display but keep away from the cockerill it runs freely and attacked me leaving a wound in my thigh where it managed to stick it's beak in. I was relieved it was not one of the children they were frightened enough as it was. We had only just... More

We have been here a number of times as we have 3 children. Each trip has been a great experience for our children. On one trip as it was raining the staff brought out the baby animals and owls for the children to handle. On our latest trip in June 2015 my little boy was fascinated with the birds and... More

Such a great day...Meercats, Racoons, Alpacas and a host of birds and pigs to name a few!! 11am Wallaby feeding encounter (hands are natures forks!), 11:30 Animal encounters, where the kids held Smaug the bearded dragon, and King the snake! Excellent and friendly staff (Richelle was FULL of enthusiasm for the animals she showed us). The 13:00 flying display was... More

Whilst it is definitely not among the biggest animal parks, we had a great afternoon and the place and the animals seemed to be well looked after. The flying display was brilliant, the owls flew right over the audiences head and we got some great pictures. The talk during the display was engaging and informative and full of funny stories,... Brilliantly done by Karl and his team he was so full.of knowledge my son needs to know every detail about animals and he knew all the answers. The animals all seemed to be very happy and had plenty of room to exercise. Fantastic afternoon out.

First impressions of the complex was very underwhelming as you have to walk through a tatty rundown area to get to the animal park. DO NOT BE PUT OFF IT IS GREAT INSIDE THE ANIMAL PARK!! The staff are very kind and friendly, admission reasonable and they automatically applied the 10% discount for over 4 paying people. Children got to... More

We visited on 8/8/15. The staff were very friendly and informative . The animals were very well cared for. This is a small place but lovely. You could hold a snake, stroke the bearded dragon while he sunbathed. The flying display is not to be missed as they flew right next to your heads. We enjoyed the hands on approach... More
