Great beach for shell searching and a lovely stroll in the late winter fresh air.The beach was spotless even though at this time of year it was full of dogs, it was refreshing to see owners took responsibility seriously.

This beach is currently closed to horseboxes due to coastal erosion and the recent storm surges. We went yesterday only to be turned back ( many other boxes and trailers were also) The farmer has said it may remain closed to horseboxes and trailers until Easter - best to check first

this place is tucked away, but well worth the trip, it is clean and the expance of beach is big enough for armies of kids and adults alike. the is a small fee to the farmer who owns the land.

We went to Fraisthorpe after reading other good reviews, after driving off the beaten track down past a farm you come across a car park just past a farm, toilets at the side of the farm as we'll with a honesty box inside, car park £1.00 today, again a honesty box. What a great Beach with great sands, head left... More

Lovely sandy beach at low tide with lots of sea birds and we saw a seal. You can walk to Bridlington and have a cup of tea in the cafe on the south beach.

Took our new dog for her first seaside visit to Fraisthorpe, always enjoyable. Good weather, beach not too busy, tide out, so a lovely long walk, paddling, beachcombing, pebble collecting and general doggy doings. Always enjoy it here, even when busy, plenty of space. Great for kite flying, wind surfing, horse riding, sand buggy racing etc..... It all happens at... More

I visited this beach on the recommendation of a friend and wasn't disappointed. If you want a lovely walk without the distraction of amusements, then this is the beach for you. It is easily (walking) accessible by a gentle slope from the car park. £2.50 to park in summer but I paid £1 as it was "winter" so there is... More

A great beach on the East Coast without any tacky amusement arcades, souvenir shops and cafes. It's relatively quiet with people just enjoying the sand and sea. There were no signs of any naturists on our visit either! BBQs are allowed as long as you're not a large party of people, don't let the sign on the pay booth confuse... More

On a recent August Bank Holiday camping trip to Skipsea I made the mistake of attempting to get into Brid at 11.30 Bank Holiday Monday. After failing miserably to find a parking space (and having taken an hour to journey 8 miles in the car to get there in the first place) I gave up and made my first sensible... More
