Visited this beach for the first time in nearly 30 years. It hasn't changed much, apart from the parking charges! My trike was charged as a car, whilst the motorbikes got a reduced rate. It's a long and narrow access from the village to the beach, but it's pleasant enough when you get there. The wind was blowing off the... More

This beach is tucked away and we accessed it via Auburn Farm, it is signposted from the main road. Parking is approx £2 for all day, the beach is dog friendly and there is a small van that sells hot food and snacks situated along the back of the beach .. you can walk for miles and into Bridlington if... Great place for kids to burn some energy without the distraction of arcades and shops. Cheap all day parking also help despite the narrow lanes en route.

Passed along this beach walking from Bridlington to Skipsea. Its a very wide beach and very clean. Plenty of people around but not in any way crowded or noisy - its just so big! Loads of space to play games without annoying anyone else.

Visited 13th August. Great for dog walk, Spaniel enjoyed it tremendously. Nice to have a place where dog can run freely with no restrictions. Well behaved dog owners too, beach really kept clean. Definitely a place to visit regularly.

This beach is ideal for dogs it is nice and quiet and you can park literally 2 minutes away from the start of the beach. No big hills to climb down like can be found on other parts of the East coast! Although it is dog friendly it is kept very clean. You can park in the car park all... More

You'll need your own transport to get here but it's approximately 30 mins drive from Beverley - and welll worth it. The beach is reached by turning off the main road just south of Bridlington and then negotiating a single road ( with passing points) of approximately 1 mile. Parking above the beach is £2.50 for the day and there... More

We have been here a few times now over the last few years and I am always blown away by how nice it is. If you get the right weather, you could quite easily mistake it for a Caribbean beach. The beach itself is huge. Very long and even when the tide is in the beach is really wide. Sand... More
