What a lovely place. A nice surprise was a pot of tea for £1.50. Admission for adults was 6.50 but it's English heritage & there was an annual pass option. The gardens are stunning and there are plenty of places to sit & enjoy them. I recommend walking up to 'the Earls seat' & resting for a bit there, the... More

I feel like Kevin McCloud returning to one of his Grand Designs. Another return trip... the Conservatory is now quite splendid- a Victorian cast-iron structure once in ruins, beautifully and thoroughly restored. Beautiful array of plants, even in winter, arranged by world location. Interesting exhibition spaces on the approach to the main area. In all, a pleasure to visit- some... More

Lovely to hear a repeat review and so glad you enjoyed the conservatory. We like serving "Yorkshire portions" in the cafe - hopefully hits the spot after a bracing February walk around the Gardens! More

The gardens and surrounding parkland are on our doorstep so we have a seaon ticket and visit frequently. We love the space and the views and the contrast between the woodland gardens and the open deer park. Without doubt its at its best in spring when the camelias and rhododendrons are in flower though how spectacular the show is depends... More

We bought a groupon voucher and we're glad we didn't pay full price. The place is small and there isn't much to see in the winter since there are no flowers. We spent a couple of hours walking around the grounds but it wasn't worth the money.

We're glad you discovered the Gardens with Groupon. If you are keen to see the Gardens at their flowering peak, we recommended anytime between April and June when our national collections of magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias are in flower. Look out for the amazing azaleas too - but sorry we don't do discount voucher offers at that time. More

Visited here with my friend and children (under 10) there was a good playground with plenty to do. The castle itself is a great sight! The grounds are beautiful. There is a gift shop and cafe which were surprisingly of good quality and very good value! A must if in the area.

This is the second time that I have been to the Castle. Both times I have been with a Voucher. I think that the play area is magnificent. This time the green house was open to the public which I found very interesting. I love the ruined castle too. Fantastic value for money even without a voucher.

We arrived around 11am and walked through the park to the Rotunda. We went past 2 types of deer in the fields . It was muddy but we were suitably dressed. We then had lunch in the cafe which was very good value and quite speedy service. Then we looked in at the beautiful conservatory which is looking much more... More

recently went to Wentworth Castle Gardens after buying a voucher from online. It was a cold and snowy day but this made the gardens look beautiful! my 2 years old loved looking out for different animals and birds. The castle was closed as it was wet underfoot and they didn't want any accidents (which is understandable). There is lots to... More
