Absolutley brilliant panto well worth going to see. Sat up in the circle row C brilliant view and wasnt as busy up there as it was down in the stalls. The panto itself was funny both for children and adults and had plenty to keep us all amused. The plaza building is a fantastic building comfy seats and very clean.... More

A children's tale spoilt with sexual connotations from the cast. We left questioning was this aimed at my 5 year old great neice or the adults in the audience. Who's great idea was it to cast Cinderella with dark hair! A statement from a 5 year old ' cinderella has yellow hair'. I know the theater is run by volunteers... More

Been here loads and loads of times, it's a regular venue for myself and my Mum. Theatre is gorgeous, we're so lucky to have this in our Town. Regularly go to the Pantomime, musicals and ballets here, always have a wonderful time. Tickets reasonably priced and staff always super helpful and polite. Restaurant is superb, real Art Deco 1920s experience... More

Went to The plaza Theatre Stockport with some friends to see The Manfreds. The Theatre has been recently refurbished in it's wonderful Art Deco style. Reasonably priced tickets, and very comfy seats with a good view of the stage. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. In the bar, there is a gallery of film stars from yesteryear -... More

The Plaza was at one time facing dereliction but thanks to the efforts of many volunteers it has been restored to its splendour of the 1930's. It now once again puts on high class shows and films, with the November Festival of Rememberance a show that cannot be missed, it is a time to rember but not in a sad... More

The building itself is a wonderful example of Art deco. There is a very good selection of plays & films at reasonable prices.
