The WORLD FAMOUS Bury Market! You can always get a good bargain and the staff on the stalls are lovely. There is a really nice community atmosphere. Would recommend a visit to Puffin Foods as you can make huge savings on there.

Visited Bury to do some last minute Christmas shopping, fab atmosphere, plenty of choice and priced very well. Fruit and veg was so fresh and got a massive Turkey for £20 which was enjoyed by all the family. A credit to the people of Bury and the whole of Greater Manchester.

Then you must get the honeycomb tripe, all from Chadwicks stall, it is the Best!!!!! 3 stalls to the right its the pie stall, then into the fish market, with the vast array of seafood,... More

We had heard that Bury market was well worth a visit and on arriving in Manchester we were surprised to find that the Manchester Tram Service goes out to Bury. A Tram Ticket for the day costs £5.00 and so we set out to avoid a home match for Manchester United by going to Bury mid morning. The Tram journey... More

This is a market with distinction and with the produce it sells you would think you were in the middle of the country. The black puddings are really tasty the cheese stalls are fantastic. A number of the stalls have free samples so you know exactly what you are buying.
