Waited an hour for food, we had to remind them we were waiting. Steak wasn't cooked, had blood running out of it. Staff were rude !

This was our first meal at this pub and what a disappointment it was. We ordered to cups of tea to go with our meal which were brought to our table. My cup was dirty and had dried scum on the inside and was crusty on the outside. They did however change it with a clean cup and fresh tea,... More

I have been to the Rose & Crown many times before and had a few meals that's were fantastic and a few that were just okay, but this particular time the food was top notch and well cooked! I think that the pub has changed hands recently and you can tell that they have made an effort to change the... More

This hard working Couple only took over OCTOBER 2014. He prides himself, correctly, on the cellar. My Husband had the Speckled Hen and said it was one of the best beers he had had in a long time. I returned with a friend for lunch. House wine at £7.95 a bottle, steak, salad, chips and peppercorn sauce for £8.45. Did... More

Excellent pub - has everything for everyone. Layout is really nice as is the atmosphere. My girlfriend and I have had food only the once but it was fantastic - fish and chips are worldy! Will definitely be returning.

Went there with a voucher that we had from a previous bad meal at a different pub and so glad we hadn't had to pay. The chips had no potato left as they where well over cooked. The southern fried chicken was over cooked and dry too. 3 tables we had to try to get a salt seller that had... More
