A great pint

The Dark beer is delicious, really lovely to pop into on a sunday afternoon. It's tiny though - so chairs are at a premium!!

Crowded bar atmosphere very clicky. Larger, and bitter plain nothing exciting. Rather boring!!! Recommend only if bored and it's raining outside!

We've been here a few times now, indeed we call in whenever we go out to dine in Ramsbottom. Interesting Victorian building, brewery downstairs, pub upstairs. Nice choice of in house brewed ales and you can ask for a sample if you aren't sure if you will like something... Good service, nice atmosphere, will definitely go again.

Having just moved to Ramsbottom we're slowly working our way through the pubs and restaurants. Called in on a Friday night it was busy but we were served quickly and reasonably priced. Had a pint of the Costa del Salford and it was thoroughly enjoyable, liked the atmosphere and will be back.

A great place to sit and enjoy a few well made beers in a comfortable light and airy bar with a balcony. The beers are brewed below and there was a good range and choice (from Stout to IPA), but even if you are not a huge real ale fan, a nice bar for a drink before exploring, or after... More

I have been a regular since the bar open, but last night was my last visit. The unhelpful rude barman has eventually done his best and I am voting with my feet.

Good well kept ales, some of there own beers are a little samey but very much enjoyed the Costa del Salford, nice bar area with viewing room were you can watch the Brewary In action, only thing I don't like is its a bit of a mans pub, which puts me off going in with female friends

A superb little pub brewing it's own beer which is well worth trying. The atmosphere is great and with it's own balcony( although looking over a car park) is well worth a visit

This is without doubt one of the best places to get a pint in the North West. Very very special beer (I'd recommend 'Mad Dog' - but don't have too many). It's like pubs used to be, everyone is very friendly, children and dogs are very welcome. It's not unusual on a Sunday to see families playing board games, dogs... More
