This tour is worth every penny! We stared with the lunch platter which was really tasty & included a beer or soft drink in my friends case. This was followed by a really interesting tour with Dec who made the 2 hour tour really informative & fun. For my non-drinking partner this was also enjoyable & she particularly enjoyed the... More

A great afternoon started with the optional ploughman's lunch (tiny bit disappointed that I did not get a little more cheese when I said I did not eat pork). The tour guide was very good, friendly and knowledgable

The whole visit was so good from booking online to a friendly welcome on arrival. The tour was interesting and Dec presented it very well, both amusing and informative and patiently answering the many questions we asked. Particularly liked seeing the cooper's workshop, the sign writers' workshop and the shire horses. The tasting session was very well presented and the... More

This tour and tasting is well worth the 10 pound cost. This is a Victorian era brew house that still regularly uses an open copper brew kettle for some beers as well as open fermentation vats. An amazing glimpse into the ancient art of traditional brewing, wooden firkins hand painted pub signs and Shire horses that till make local deliveries... More

In Devizes the Wadsworth brewery in a home name, well known above all for their 6x beer. The factory tour is most enjoyable and at least you will meet some of the dray horses used every day for town deliveries. When visiting the town make an appointment for the visit, you will not be dissapointed. Do not fotget your camera

Very enjoyable and informative tour with a taster afterwards in the brewery bar. It was great to see the old traditions begging observed today. A visit to the working cart horses across the road and the pub sign writers studio next door, the tour helped visitors to relive the brewing traditions of the 19th Centry. Be aware that there are... Wedidn't want to take and two and a half hour tour but just went to the visitor centre. A great place to pas and hour or two, especially on a rainy day. The centre is warm, attractive and inviting and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely bar with six of their ales to try plus lots of other... More

As gifts go, a 60th birthday present trip to a brewery was always going to be a winner! My husband was delighted to get a voucher for a visit to one of our favourite brewers and we were not disappointed. Sensibly, we took the bus so were able to fully enjoy all the tour had to offer! This was much... More

I gave this tour as a gift to my father and brothers in law and they thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn't stop raving about how knowledgable the guide was. I didn't go on the tour but spent time in the visitor centre with my nephew and they couldn't have made me feel welcome. From the reaction of the people I... More

I am so pleased that we took the tour of the Brewery. The tour started promptly, even though two people were missing. It was amusing having to wear a High Vis jacket. The information at the start of the tour is informative without being over-long, we then got to see the Customs Office and smell and taste some of the... More
