Established in 1875, this independent family owned brewery is steeped in history, heritage & traditional skills, as well as a wide collection of carefully hand crafted ales. With an on-site Sample Bar, Brewery Shop & Visitor Centre, there's certainly much more to Wadworth - a visit to see our Shire Horses, who deliver our ales across town each week day, is highly recommended! Scheduled tours are available daily at 11am & 2pm, catering for up to 60 people, prices start from £8.50pp. Brewery Tours include a visit to the main production areas, our on-site Sign Studio; where guests can gaze at our unique hand painted pub signs, followed by a visit to the Stables, finishing with a tutored beer sampling session. Our Visitor Centre & Brewery Shop is open each week day from 10am-5pm (except bank holidays), and is always well stocked with your favourite Wadworth ales and gifts.

As we wanted to see the Caen Locks, thought we would do the brewery first. And it was interesting, informative and very friendly. Lovely welcome from all the staff and especially Bekki who put up with all my questions ,both intelligent and stupid! Lots of steps but well worth the cost as all aspects are covered. I especially enjoyed seeing the sign... More

We booked on the tour as a birthday present for an elderly beer loving friend. Prebook and park at the door. What an interesting morning we had guided by delightful staff through this Devizes landmark. Because the group is kept quite small we had lots of opportunity to get close to the equipment and ask questions. The tastings were generous... More

We've been on several brewery trips but this was by far the best to date. The tour starts at the visitor centre, which is well stocked with products/ memorabilia and an enthusiastic and helpful staff. There is a brief history talk here and then we proceeded to the the brewery. Most of the tour is centred on the old processes... More

This was a great tour. The brewery is situated in a small town in England but it has a lot to offer. They are part "old timers" part modern brewery. They merged old ways and the new modernized ones in a very nice manner. Tour itself is about 2 hours long and after there is a ale tasting. They also... More

Knowledgeable guide, nice lunch before tour and free tasters after it. It's pretty much like every other brewery tour but seems to go into more detail while keeping it uncomplicated. Also get to see the sign writing workshop and horses.

Rainy day boys afternoon out. Guided by very good and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of facts delivered in a friendly, informative but relaxed manner. All finished off with a extensive tasting session. A few stairs and obstacles to negotiate, so not really suitable for people with mobility issues.

Our guide was brilliant . She had a wide knowledge of the brewery and was able to answer all questions. Also she was quite entertaining, making it interesting for, beer drinkers and non beer drinkers. Well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed the tour, took us right into the factory production areas. Guide was knowledgeable, funny and passionate about beer, couldn't fault anything. Tour included sampling at the end, which was relaxed and not restricted to a couple of mouthfuls. Really really good value money, I totally recommend the tour to anyone (who can climb a few stairs)

Fantastic tour. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area. Very informative tour around the brewery showing each phase of the process. Finished up with a sample of 6 local beers. A huge thumbs up
