Description: Established in 1875, this independent family owned brewery is steeped in...
Established in 1875, this independent family owned brewery is steeped in history, heritage & traditional skills, as well as a wide collection of carefully hand crafted ales. With an on-site Sample Bar, Brewery Shop & Visitor Centre, there's certainly much more to Wadworth - a visit to see our Shire Horses, who deliver our ales across town each week day, is highly recommended! Scheduled tours are available daily at 11am & 2pm, catering for up to 60 people, prices start from £8.50pp. Brewery Tours include a visit to the main production areas, our on-site Sign Studio; where guests can gaze at our unique hand painted pub signs, followed by a visit to the Stables, finishing with a tutored beer sampling session. Our Visitor Centre & Brewery Shop is open each week day from 10am-5pm (except bank holidays), and is always well stocked with your favourite Wadworth ales and gifts.

For £11 each, I would highly recommend this tour! The tour itself was very informative and you get to see the workings of the brewery as well as the sign painting studio and shire horses. This is a history lesson as much as a brewery tour, as much of the tour focuses on the original (still operating) workings of the... More

Popped in here for a coffee and a mooch around the shop as part of a stop with our car club tour. The brewery tour wasn't open since it was a Sunday, but the staff were welcoming, the coffee was hot and the shop had some great gifts!

The tour around the brewery was conducted very smoothly...there are steep stairs, so wear flats and go carefully! Having said that, we negotiated our way round well, saw everything and learned a lot! Tour took almost two hours, but the time flew. Last but certainly not least, a yummy lunch with cheese, pie and chutney washed down with a Wadworths... More

this is well worth visiting if you are ever in devizes. Ive been four times and every time is different. The tour of the brewery is very interesting. The sign writing fantastic to watch, and the shire horses are unbelievable close up, and of course there is a beer tasting session at the end. What more could you want?

I bought this trip for my husband for his birthday. We had had a very difficult year and I felt he deserved a treat, 6x has always been his favourite beer. it was very well organised and interesting. There are quite a lot of stairs so not good for infirm people. At the end we were taken to the bar... More

An interesting tour taking in all aspects of the brewing process and you get to see the heavy horses and try all brews as part of the tour. You may need transport home.

The tour was fascinating, informative and interesting but most importantly Dec made it entertaining and personal. He was a fantastic guide, involving everyone in the group and engaging from start to finish. The tasting was as generous as much as it was informative and then no sooner as Dec had finished his turn as tour guide he made us a... More
