Established in 1875, this independent family owned brewery is steeped in history, heritage & traditional skills, as well as a wide collection of carefully hand crafted ales. With an on-site Sample Bar, Brewery Shop & Visitor Centre, there's certainly much more to Wadworth - a visit to see our Shire Horses, who deliver our ales across town each week day, is highly recommended! Scheduled tours are available daily at 11am & 2pm, catering for up to 60 people, prices start from £8.50pp. Brewery Tours include a visit to the main production areas, our on-site Sign Studio; where guests can gaze at our unique hand painted pub signs, followed by a visit to the Stables, finishing with a tutored beer sampling session. Our Visitor Centre & Brewery Shop is open each week day from 10am-5pm (except bank holidays), and is always well stocked with your favourite Wadworth ales and gifts.

I went into the shop attached to the brewery to find some gifts for my Management Team. Lots of choice and found some really nice cuff links which I didn't expect to find. The shop is well stocked, well laid out and nice staff. Worth a visit.

Our guides were very good and provided lots of history about the brewery. Loved seeing all the areas where the beer is brewed and the smells are just amazing! Loved seeing the Shire horse- only one there at the time called Archie, he was gorgeous. Also loved seeing where the sign writers paint the signs- all done free hand, amazing!... More

Our guide kept us entertained throughout this most informative and interesting tour. The two hours packs in a lot and was never boring. The tasting session was especially good and I don't really like beer. Don't go on an empty stomach because there are six generous samples to work through.

The best brewery & winery visit I've ever visited - including on continent. Very informative visit to their 3 Shire horses, pub sign artwork, old and new brewery. Generous choice of drinks afterwards in comfortable seating. Also short walk into the fascinating historical town of Devizes.

friendly staff who make the tour interesting, you'll learn a lot and of course you can sample the beer in their pub before you depart.

A truly interesting and informative tour around the Brewery with a very knowledgeable guide, not just about the brewery but beers in general. This is a very old building so there are a lot of narrow, steep stair cases and a maze of pipes in all directions, some of them very low. Then it was on to the sign writing... More

I have taken this tour more than once and always learn something new. The escort is always informed, the building is interesting, the beer making processes always ongoing when you visit.

As we wanted to see the Caen Locks, thought we would do the brewery first. And it was interesting, informative and very friendly. Lovely welcome from all the staff and especially Bekki who put up with all my questions ,both intelligent and stupid! Lots of steps but well worth the cost as all aspects are covered. I especially enjoyed seeing the sign... More

We booked on the tour as a birthday present for an elderly beer loving friend. Prebook and park at the door. What an interesting morning we had guided by delightful staff through this Devizes landmark. Because the group is kept quite small we had lots of opportunity to get close to the equipment and ask questions. The tastings were generous... More

We've been on several brewery trips but this was by far the best to date. The tour starts at the visitor centre, which is well stocked with products/ memorabilia and an enthusiastic and helpful staff. There is a brief history talk here and then we proceeded to the the brewery. Most of the tour is centred on the old processes... More
