Established in 1875, this independent family owned brewery is steeped in history, heritage & traditional skills, as well as a wide collection of carefully hand crafted ales. With an on-site Sample Bar, Brewery Shop & Visitor Centre, there's certainly much more to Wadworth - a visit to see our Shire Horses, who deliver our ales across town each week day, is highly recommended! The Visitor Centre is FREE admission, however fees apply to our guided tours. Scheduled tours are available daily at 11am & 2pm, catering for up to 60 people, prices start from £9.00pp. Brewery Tours include a visit to the main production areas, our on-site Sign Studio; where guests can gaze at our unique hand painted pub signs, followed by a visit to the Stables, finishing with a tutored beer sampling session. Our Visitor Centre & Brewery Shop is open each week day from 10am-5pm (except bank holidays), and is always well stocked with your favourite Wadworth ales and gifts.

An informative and entertaining Brewery Tour, ending in a beer sampling session. Toured the Brewery, the Shire Horse Stables and the Pub Sign workshops to see them painting beautiful signs. A most entertains couple of hours !

A visit to a brewery must be on most “blokes” bucket list. But on our visit the party was 50/50. We visited on Friday, when apparently all the brewers have finished their work for the week and are now down the pub. I suspect if you want to see the place in action then you will need to visit on... More

An excellent tour by Wadworths of their brewery. Comprehensive explanation of the brewing process by our guide but would not say it is suitable for elderly or disabled visitors as there are many steps to climb and narrow staircases.Finished off with an informative tasting session of the beers at the Visitor Centre. Highly recommended.

An interesting visit a little disappointed the horses were on holidays, but we did get to see the stables. We were shown the sign writer doing the painted signs also taken through the making of their beer. After there was a tasting of the beer or you could have a soft drink or coffee or tea

Great brewery trip! My wife and I had visited the VISITOR Centre previously but decided to come back another time for the tour. Really good and the highlight was actually seeing how the craftsmen hand paint all the Wadworth pub signs. Real skill. Then of to the beer tasting with notes presented by a knowledgeable guide and many samples of... More

Brewery tour was great, our tour guide Maisie made it extra special due to her knowledge and personality, the beer tasting made this excellent value. We booked a platter for lunch which was a lovely end to the experience.
