This has to be one of the best courses in the south west. Wonderful challenging holes and some very pretty holes too. The course is in great shape and tests all aspects of your game. Buggy is a must due to steep hills between some holes. Clubhouse is very pleasant with good food and drink. This course is a must... More

Course was beautiful running up and down a couple of valleys- definitely hire a buggy we didn't and it was tough going! Staff are very friendly and it was not the slightest bit pretentious

Best course in the area with some stunning holes, well worth playing. All round good day out decent food in the club house but it's the golf we go there for and would recommend it. If it has a down side you need a buggy because long up hill walks in a few places between holes.

Friends suggested we have a Sunday lunch here ....my wife and I are not golfers but felt very comfortable in the surroundings. On this Sunday just a choice of beef or pork which was a little disappointing but the meal was good the beef a little chewy but the veg was fresh and not soft and overcooked like so many... More

From the moment you pull up in the car park you realise this is a classy facility! The clubhouse is what you imagine a great clubhouse to be like, very swanky indeed!! Even the toilets/changing rooms are 5* standard. The course is a good test of golf but enjoyable for higher handicappers too. The course winds up and down through... More

Having had a real disappointment at "Newport" 4 of us arrived at the Manor house golf course. On arrival we were greeted by smiling faces and treated superbly. The course itself has 16 great holes and two OK holes. Beautiful condition. But a word of advice! Take a buggy, it's a long walk!

Nothing to dislike, apart from the fact that it was so popular is took 41/2 hours to play a two-ball on a Monday. Beautiful course in immaculate condition, clubhouse friendly and surroundings perfect/ NB take a buggy to walk between holes is like playing another 9 holes!

I've stayed here a couple of times on golf breaks, if you like to play golf and love a very good hotel this is worth the money. The last time we did it was £99pp dinner B&B for one night with 2 rounds of golf and dinner in the golf club, the food is not as nice as the hotel... More
