Voted in 2011 'Wiltshire's No.1 Golf Course'and rated in the top 100 in England. There are some stunning tee shots and none more so than the opening drive, says Andy Ryan, Golf Professional at the course. Played by Retief Goosen and Luke Donald, who said " The Manor House is a truly stunning course and I will definitely be coming back".

Greens not very good. It used to be a lovely course but it needs money spending on it. Atmosphere and Service has gone down hill, it's such a shame

We played a four ball here last year and we really enjoyed the course. We took 2 buggies which made the game all the more enjoyable, as there are a number of quite elevated tees and long walk between greens and next tees. It is a woodland course with some great views. The course and greens were in good condition.... More

Great venue, happy attentive staff. Quality chefs and restaurant. Golf course is a very good test of your golfing skills. Can be expensive but worth it.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course . Although not long it is tight and has a number of spectacular elevated tees. However you do pay for the views with some serious walks between holes, those investing in a buggy made a good decision. Food afterwards was good also

Golf course not very good although it does have delightful scenery. Played on a Tuesday, went in the Spike Bar afterwards there were a number of men in the bar drinking back red wine. They were very badly behaved, they were rude to the staff and rude to ourselves made us feel most unwelcome. We do not swear and do... More

Dear Dave C, Thank you for your feedback. I do feel this one is a little bit unfair as it appears that you have issue with the men enjoying the red wine and not anything that we did or did not. I can only apologise on their behalf and do point out that we do not tolerate bad language or... More

My husband and I payed 9 holes of golf here on Boxing Day (being put off from playing the back 9 by the rain). The 9 holes we played were good fun. We walked as it was quite cold but its a fair tro from green to tee and there are quite a few steep hills to navigate so I... More

This has to be one of the best courses in the south west. Wonderful challenging holes and some very pretty holes too. The course is in great shape and tests all aspects of your game. Buggy is a must due to steep hills between some holes. Clubhouse is very pleasant with good food and drink. This course is a must... More

Course was beautiful running up and down a couple of valleys- definitely hire a buggy we didn't and it was tough going! Staff are very friendly and it was not the slightest bit pretentious

Best course in the area with some stunning holes, well worth playing. All round good day out decent food in the club house but it's the golf we go there for and would recommend it. If it has a down side you need a buggy because long up hill walks in a few places between holes.
