This is a great ski resort and the price is excellent. The good points: - Price!!! - There are runs for all abilities (long green run for beginners, nice blue runs and steep reds and black runs). - Friendly people. - Old and Modern lifts (old lifts are a great experience). - View from the communication tower is amazing! We had been to Bansko twice and decided to have a change this year. Luckily, when we there in Feb/Mar it had the best snow of all the Bulgarian resorts. The slopes offer excellent value for money. Food and drinks are considerably cheaper in Bulgaria than elsewhere in Europe. People are friendly and helpful and I even managed to overcome... More

Just arrived back from another great skiing holiday in Pamporovo, this was not our first choice, but due to poor snow conditions at Borovets we changed resorts after day one. Whilst we were there I proposed to my girlfriend on top of the mountain and she said yes, we celebrated at a local restaurant in Pamporovo the Gloria Mar. This... More

Once again, a great resort for a ski holiday. All levels are catered for - beginner or expert. The queues for the chairlifts can be long if busy day, but once you get up the mountain, it lightens off. Hit the Stoykaite run, and the crowds are a lot less, very few ski schools, and a long run. Six man... More

Went skiing in Pamporovo 1st to the 8th February, and think we were so lucky, as the snow conditions were the best, in all of the resorts, we stayed in the Orlavets hotel which is meant to be a 5* but is an English 4* but was told it was the best in Pamporovo, lovely spa, huge beds, and lovely... Great place for big fearties like me. Lots of long easy runs. Buckets of sunshine. Excellent places to eat with good service. Try to avoid Bulgarian half term though. 4 hour transfer from Sofia a doddle.

This was my first time skiing and after being very apprehensive, I can honestly say that we chose the best resort for this experience. Our instructor was top class and teaches all levels of skiers. He was very patient, positive and never pushed beyond the means. The hotel musquavets was very basic and loud, however, food good and service okay.... More

The friendly staff . Food at Alex's pub on the mountain. The mountain. The instructors teach you so quickly, but do not push the slower to learn to go beyond their means. The night life. Just the whole package here!!!

hi there, just beware of so called doctors in Pamporovo ski resort-Bulgaria, because after getting an accident and a radio later, the 2 businessmen(200€for the joke) will tell you :Go you can go". Nothing on their radio but an anterior cruciate ligament broken! So I came back on 1 leg in the snow, then by car, by plane and car... More
