Easy Ride is a company that takes your money and not deliver the promised product. I paid $ 59 us for the shuttle from San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua to Liberia, Costa Rica. I was not picked up on the Costa Rican side of the border as promised. Therefore I had to pay a new taxi from the border... More

The north end seems much cleaner. Right in front of town there are many boats ankered so I swam at the north end, with less boats. The sand is fine and brownish and great to run/walk. There are many bars, restaurants of all types and prices along the beach. A new and strange jet-pack flying experience is offered on the... More

Beautiful but a little worried about the run off into the water from the town above. I love all the restaurants along the water, Bob's, I mean Dorados bar & grill have beach chairs where you can sit and watch the sunset with a drink and friends.

Easily accessible, clean, safe, great walking and if you want something to eat or drink, many restaurants with bars, all accessible from the beach and a super place to watch the sunsets. Every Thursday at 7:30 P.M. a wonderful show, free at the El Timon Restaurant… Traditional costume and dance and if you have kids, they will love it ...

This is a beautiful half moon, crescent bay with boats bobbing at their moorings being watched over by Jesus from the bluff. Restaurants line the beach and provide services. Walking the beach during the day can be very hot. Locales and visitors alike can be seen swimming. In past evening visits, we've been lucky enough to see the fire baton... More

Beaches and night life were great. The sights were cool and the people were very nice. Not too touristy either.

You can se the raw sewage flowing in the ditches to the beach. When the rains come it's just like flushing your toilet. There's a reason the sand is brown and slightly muddy. The many restaurants that line the beach and in town are average to poor at best for quality of food. Glad I can scratch h this off... More

There is nothing like a sunset from one of the many restaurants that line San Juan Del Sur beach!!! We prefer to swim on more secluded beaches north and south of San Juan, but it is always a joy to look at all the boats and waves crashing especially when the sun is setting!

Brown, slightly muddy sand in a wide bay. A pleasant enough walk the full length of the bay and back. Lots of well populated restaurants and bars along the promenade with seating overlooking the beach and sea.

Not very clean... Water looks muddy, and beach does not have "amenities". Neither it has water sports... Needs improvements.
