A quaint beach just down the road from Casa Maderas. Surfing, boogie boards are available. My husband and I had our first surfing lesson with Alfredo who helped prepare us for our first adventure on a surfboard. There is a great cafe that serves the best fish tacos ever!!!

I spent 2 days one night in this beautiful beach town, the bay along the restaurants are fantastic and you cannot miss to have dinner at least once. During the day I stayed at the beach, walked, did some streetside shopping and visit the Azul-Spa. The people is very warm, with the laid-back style it is a pretty place to...

This is a historic fishing village that had its hayday during the California gold rush...

There are very few buildings over a couple of stories high and it still retains a sense of community among the locals. The sea and beach are clean and unpolluted, as a result I got stung by a Manta Ray! While it...

For the best view of the town and beach head for the bar at Pelican Eyes. Or better yet take the trip to Jesus. From this vantage point you can see all the way down the coast to Costa Rica. The beach itself is mildly interesting. Lots of eating and drinking places. The beaches north and south of the town...
