This school is exceptional in many ways. I have studied Spanish in Guatemala three times and in University and the teachers here are the best I have ever had. The staff is professional and very advanced. The living situations are beyond wonderful. I strongly recommend this school. They attend to all levels of students. More

Although I had only 2 weeks available to study Spanish in Nicaragua, I enjoyed each moment of my time with the maestro. He's very knowledgeable, clear in explanations and patient to repete what wasn't caught on from previous information. The Spanish Ya school has great afternoon activities which may suit any interest, from surfing to dance to horse-backriding to volunteering... More

Spanish Ya was a great experience and my only regret is not having booked more time. The teachers are professional, friendly and fun. The curriculum is personalized with just the right amount of structured grammar and conversational support. Yajaira, the owner, is an energentic entrepreneur, justifiably proud of her creation working hard every day to ensure students have a positive... More

Excellent outdoor classes with very friendly and warm teachers. And I learned so much about the culture of Nicaragua and the history of San Juan Del Sur. Learning a second language is not easy for me, and the teachers made it fun and really helped me improve. I can't wait to return this summer. More

Don´t know what to write except the school is great. good teachers. good location (it´s nice to zone out on the breaks and stare at the river). Wish I would have studied a little more out of class, but after 4 hours in class its hard to. I have done other 4 hour a day classes, and I did not... More

I spent a week learning at Spanish Ya about 2 years ago. I returned this month for an additional week of classes. The staff is friendly and organized. Both times I learned more than I thought possible in the short time I had. Go to Spanish Ya!!! More

I studied at Spanish Ya for about 4.5 week this summer (mainly in July 2011). I knew students who studied at other schools in San Juan del Sur and comparing our experiences, I believe Spanish Ya is the best school. It is slightly more expensive than other schools, but it seems to be the most organized. San Juan is a... More
