Upon deciding to visit the park we were unaware we would be experiencing full on animal abuse and cruelity! The most shocking was the treatment of the elephants DURING the performance. The elephants were not given commands without the use of a BULLHOOK, either being hit with maximum force by the handle or the hook itself. The elephants showed immense... More

The park is ok, but not worth to pay any entrance fee. But the white pagoda is nice uner the blue weather. And the elephant performance was only soso, not so interesting.

This is famous in China for it's exceptional teas. Just like Monteray California is known for wines, Pu're is known in China for the tea grown here. Very easy to fly into this modern city with a very ancient past. The mushroom restaurant is a must to experience with wild harvested and exotic mushrooms of every kind you can imagine...tasty... More

Fairly quiet for a Chinese park but little to see there other than the regulation cruelty to birds show and an elephant display that my companion enjoyed and was well managed.
