We went on the trolley ride last week end. It is 1 and a quarter hours long and well worth it. You learn about Hershey and the Milton Hershey School. We stopped at Founders Hall at the school which was very impressive. Our tour guide was excellent and provided a great deal of information about the Hershey company and it's... More

They offer two versions of this tour, one with an "Historian Narrator" and one with "Actors to Entertain You." The tour is supposed to tell the history of Milton Hershey founding his successful chocolate company, while showing you some of the sights around town. This time I took some guests on the tour with the "Actors." Terrible, terrible, terrible. I... More

It was amazing to learn about the foundation of the Hershey company, the philanthropy of Milton Hershey, and the creation of the town. The most impressive part of the tour was the Hershey School, which educates (for free) about 2000 kids from orphanages and underprivileged family. The tour guide was a little corny, but hey, I like corny humor. He... More

Nice way to see the town and learn about Mr. Hershey. I learned many things I did not know. The guide running around town was entertaining but the singing was the corny part.

My family of five with young kids (2-7) and two adults ALL LOVED this tour ~ It was such a great tour of Hershey's life ~ We caught glimpses of all sorts of key places in Hershey's life, learned a LOT about him and the birth of Hershey the company, empire, and town. Yes, the seats are hard wood (it's... More

First off this is not a tour of the town and all the buildings. It is more of a Mr. Hershey story....but that was okay just don't be expecting an architecturally tour this is not it. But it was a nice tour of all things Mr. Hershey. Honestly if it was not for the BEST tour guide ever - WILBER!... More

First thing I noticed, having a bad back, was that between the very hard seats and the very bumpy ride, this probably wasn't for me. I had to brace myself the whole time. It also did not feel air conditioned and it was SO hot out. Although my daughter and I really enjoyed the history we heard, the gentleman doing... More

I've been on several trolley tours in the past. This was by far the most uncomfortable and cramped. The trolleys were supposedly air conditioned, but it was very warm inside, and the seats were narrow and hard--sitting on them for 45 minutes was too long. The actors on the tour did a fine job, and gave some good information, but... More

This was a very cute tour, less than an hour. Overall, a little pricey for the amount of time, but I would still recommend it if you have a sense of humor and appreciation for the corny stuff. My 5 and 6 year old did not quite fully engage, but they did like the songs they knew and of course... More

There was information to be learned from this Trolley Works Trip, but the way it was delivered is more suitable for either Elementary/Middle School level or senior citizens may get a kick out of it and the songs you sing. I would have rather had a regular trolley ride with an explanation of what happened where. Once was enough for... More
