Description: Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of...
Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year. During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way. We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

We took the premium tour at 10.15 on September 3rd with our driver John and narrator Kim. What a joy and educational ride this was as we learned all about the life and times of the Hershey family on this 75 minutes tour of the city of Hershey (Derry). We went around the main sites in the city and were... More

The trolley ride was the best part of our trip to Hershey. The narrator was knowledgeable. It was very informative and fun.

This is always a great experience, for couples or the whole family. We've gone during the summer months and at Christmas time, it's a very nice story of their life and how it all began and you get to sample some chocolate for Free.

My daughters loved this tour. They took us all around Hershey with a little theatrical twist. There are 2 actors that led the tour, there is singing and Hershey miniature chocolates that they hand out along the way. Cute way to see Hershey.

Great way to learn a little about Milton Hershey's legacy! We did the premium tour and enjoyed learning the history. The free kisses were a perk!

My grade school aged kids enjoyed the theater part of the trip and the chocolate hand outs. Very light on the history more of a short skit on wheels. If the rest of my family hadn't enjoyed it so much would have rated much lower for the hokeyness alone.

I've been on several tours in my lifetime but very few are as entertaining as this one. We chose the premium tour which is a 75 minute tour on the HISTORY (keyword, folks) of Hershey and how it came to be. I bold history because I've read some reviews where people say it's boring or whatever probably because history does... More

A tour with a little 'kiss" of history and a lot of less desirable acting and too much singing. Skits/stories were enthusiastically acted out by a guide & actor at several places along the route. Skits were a little too corny for me, but they were informative. Too bad the time wasted on singing wasn't used as an opportunity to... More

Our family always take this 45 minutes trolley tour. Why?...because we enjoy the entertainment and history snippets along the way. The young adults have always been entertaining, and this trolley ride was no exception. Another reason for reserving a trolley tour?....What else?...THE CHOCOLATE!!

We really had a wonderful time listening to the history of the area and the impact Milton Hershey had in so many lives. The young man who played all the different characters was very animated and loved his job.....made the ride very enjoyable!
