Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery. « less

Troegs was on my husband's list of things to do in Hershey. We had booked our tour online, but it turned out that we were the only two in the 11:30 time slot. Fine with us. We had a private tour and Bob was just great with all of the history and the actual beer making process. I wish we... More

We went on a Sunday and it was great as the machines were idle so we were able to hear the tour guide. Make sure to make a reservation, as the max group size is 10 people. The Tasting Tour is only $5 and includes several beer samples and a take home souvenir glass. It took less than 45 minutes,... More

We went here on a Sundat afternoon on Labor Day weekend...mistake #1...it was packed! Little did we know there was a Zac Brown Band concert at Hershey Stadium that same night and apparently this is where many people were starting thier tailgaiting. Never the less this palce is very nice. There is a self guided tour and a guided tour,... More

I considered myself as a beer drinker until I hit this Brewery. I must say that the ingredients that they use here smelled a little more funky than the usual beer that we drink. With that said, it might be a beer drinker's heaven since they have so many types of beer. They have guided tours or self guided tours... More

My wife and I took the tasting tour the Friday of Labor Day weekend. In a word, the Troegs brewery is absolutely awesome. Everything just looks and feels like it was made to enjoy; the high tech and sleek design of the brewing equipment, the inside/outside bar and restaurant which sits in the middle of the brew house, the walk... We visited in the afternoon on a Saturday so the place was fairly busy but not packed. We were directed to sit at a table with service for beer but food was concession style. It was awkward as we sat at a table that had not been cleared and it remained that way until we did it ourselves. It even... More

This is not your typical beer tour! Troegs Brewery offers a great tour for five bucks that includes three tastings but the piece de resistance is the tasting room and snack bar afterwards. The sample of six beers is only $8 and all samples are 4 oz. The snack bar menu is world class, not a snack bar at all... More

Stopped here after Hershey Park to try a few beers and get some beer to go. Got a few sampler flights to split with my wife and a gigantic pretzel to snack on. The pretzel was excellent and the beer was good but not outstanding. The food menu has many options but very little for my allergic to many things... More

Great place to take your craft beer friends and family. Tour is interesting and we got the chance to try some new scratch beers. Restaurant and bar give ample opportunities to try all of their beers.

Was in town for the Hershey Cup soccer tournament. A local told me if I was looking for a good place to go get lunch and relax in a good atmosphere, that I should try Troegs. Could not have been more right. Excellent brewed beer, I had a summer ale, and the wife, my children and I ordered their pretzel.... More
