Owner description: Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.

We went to buy up as much Mad Elf as they would let us purchase as we are often limited here in NJ to one six pack or two and often priced high. So we drove to the brewery took the tour which was very informative not to mention the small samples were delish. Then we sat at the bar... More

You would not think this place would have such an eclectic menu....but they do: duck confit, poutine, charcuterie, baked cauliflower with gruyere and mushrooms...the list could go on and on. The best choice is to get a bunch of small plates and share. Everything was delicious but if you are looking for the usual pub fare, this is not the... More

Excellent facility with a wonderful beer selection and great food. I absolutely love Nugget Nectar and Perpetual IPA and the Soft pretzel isn't half bad either! Always a couple of new Scratch Beers to try as well. (bring back the Mango IPA!)

this is a great stop while visiting hershey if you love beer...craft beer! we took the self guided tour...and then stopped in the gift store for unique xmas gifts. the "snackbar" menu is widely diverse and not your average snacks. everytime we come here the food is excellent with the pairings of beer. try the beer flight or a scratch... I'm new to craft beer, but really felt this was some of the best I've tried. Our server was very pleasant and informative, and we came away with a purchase. The shop is clean, neat and well organized, so it was easy to find what we wanted. We didn't do the tour or eat at the bistro, but I'm sure... More

I definitely recommend taking the time to do the Tasting Tour at Troegs Brewery. It is $5 a person, but you get to sample several beers, actually go through the plant, and you get an official "beer taster" etched pint glass at the end. The tour takes about 45 minutes and involves walking up stairs and on elevated platforms. It... More

Visited with a friend after attending the AACA Car Show. Sampled a number of beers (had the sampler) and we did enjoy a great pretzel from their food counter. A great blend of people enjoying beer : Couples, Friends and Families. A Self Guided Brewery Tour is available for those that enjoy that kind of thing and a Company Store... More

I took a Saturday afternoon and drove to Hershey from Philadelphia just to visit Troegs. The tour was very good and the brewery itself is a great space. The real attraction however is the restaurant/bar and store. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was terrific. The store stocked all of the breweries beers, including some specialty batches that aren't... More

One of my favorite breweries to visit. I've been here several times, just getting around the reviewing it now. If you can plan your trip here in advance I highly recommend doing the guided tour, it requires reservations though. The brew pub area is top notch and the self guided tour area is very informative. Don't forget to grab some... More

My boyfriend and I took the tasting tour and it was really nice---Only $5 and they give you a pint glass to take home! The food menu blew me away! I am a caterer in the Delaware area, not much can impress me after being in the catering business for 11 years but everything from the menu to the presentation... More
