I thought this "zoo" was pathetic. As included with admission to Hershey Park, I was glad to have visited, but I could not imagine paying separate admission for this. It is only about 10 acres, and the exhibits for the bobcat and the aligator and crocodile are shockingly small. It was very disappointing. more

I lived in Harrisburg for 10 years and visited Zoo America once. It doesn't have a large selection of animals but it is fun for little children and wouldn't be overwhelming for them. Nice day trip for children...otherwise skip it. more

You can visit just the zoo by purchasing your ticket at the ZooAmerica year round entrance . Our family recently visited ZooAmerica and we were disappointed by the size of the zoo. It took about 20 minutes total from start to finish and we were not impressed. If you still want to visit, make the trip while you are at Hershey Park (it's free from inside Hershey) and don't spend the money to visit seperately. more
