We got a great view of the bears from the monorail at Hersheypark!! The animals look well cared for and it was a peaceful walk on the paths to see them.

While at Hersey Park we visited Zoo America as a break in the action. It is small as compared to other zoos but it is not the main attraction; Hersey Park is. The zoo is well maintained, al animals looked health and staff was friendly.

This again is another jewel that Milton Hershey developed during his lifetime as a "gift" to his town. It can be a bit difficult to get around with a stroller/wheelchair. The variety of animals seems to decrease every time we visit. It would be a shame to see this closed and turned into more crazy rides for the Hersheypark!! We... More

Um... not what I would consider a "Zoo" but someone gave it that title. My teens and I weren't impressed. Glad I didn't pay extra for the visit.

We toured the zoo after lunch to give our stomachs a break. Great for kids. But if you do go around lunch note that most of the animals are sleeping.

The zoo is just OK. Its nothing special, but the price is high. When we went all the animals were out, it smelt like a typical zoo (in the summer), and I just feel there is so much more you could be doing with your money and time in Hershey.

If you live near Hershey as I do it was a great place to take my kids to for creatures of the night in the fall. Fun and yes a learning experience. When my boys were growing up our Hershey Park Season passes got us in for free. It was something we could do at any time and the conversations... More

The zoo is just OK if you live near a big city zoo. It has a few interesting animals, and it is small enough for young kids to get around on foot.
