The animals were so cute and there is so much to do and see. Great for kids. The animals especially the wolves were so cute. Lots to see and do... I will be going back in the spring to see the bear that was hibernating. Did not know it was the first Zoo in America. Nice and very child friendly

A small zoo featuring North American animals. Our highlight was seeing the Bald Eagle close up and granddaughter loved the Snow Owl and grandson loved the Alligator. Staff had the baby alligator out for us to see up close. Bear was hibernating but the elk were out and the wolves were out sunning on the rock ledge. Nice place to... More

Dear Sue B, Thank you for being our special Guest at ZooAmerica this winter. It is amazing to observe these active animals in the colder weather (okay, except maybe the sleepy bear) and we're so glad your family got to enjoy many of the animal encounters we offered along the way. We are very proud of our North American concentration... More

This is a relatively small zoo compared to other PA Zoos (like Pittsburgh or Philly) but it is interesting because it has all North American animals. A themed zoo, very novel! I enjoy going there because I don't have to spend all day, I am not exhausted when I leave, and I actually remember the animals since I am not... More

The zoo is small compared to other zoos I've been to but I still enjoyed our visit. The zoo has only North American animals which was actually interesting because I was able to see some animals I've never seen in person before. The animal enclosures were set up well so that we were able to get a good view of... More

Andy B, We appreciate you being our Guest at ZooAmerica and are so pleased you found some new animal encounters to enjoy. It seems like we observe an animal or a behavior we've never seen before every time we walk through it. As you may know, ZooAmerica admission is included in any Hersheypark admission ticket during the Hersheypark operating season,... More

I love this little zoo! Admittedly, it's small and limited only to North American animals, but it's very well kept up and the people working there are so nice and eager to interact with visitors. It's a nice way to spend 1-2 hours and they do a good job of appealing to both kids and adults. My favorite time to... More

Perfect way to spend an hour or so. They only have North American animals, but it was very nice. Bears, wolves, bald eagles, etc.

We love love love this zoo. Really interesting and beautiful animals and they are easy to see for kids and grownups alike! Zoo is just the right size - not too big - and well organized. I love the info provided on each animal about the status of their species. Highly recommend!!

Went on a chilly October morning with our three children. We also got in free because we're members of an affiliate zoo! Overall, we enjoyed it. Lots of exhibits, the animals appeared to be well looked after and the facility was clean. It was also great to do something not involving the Hershey Co. in the area. I would recommend... More

For such a great theme park this isn't a very good zoo at all! The enclosures are old, dirty, seems like a roadside attraction instead of being a multi million dollar company. The mountain lions should have a newer and bigger enclosure with glass viewing like the Bears and the wolves should have a moat with a waterfall that separates... More

Most Zoos focus on animals from around the world, but this small gem of a Zoo focuses on only North American wildlife. It is easily to progress through the complex and the exhibits are well labeled with loads of information. Great for kids and adults alike.
