Small but fun

It was free entry to the zoo with entry into Hersheypark. I don't think I would have paid to go in to see it.

Zoo America was included with the admission to Hershey Park. It is a small zoo that features animals from the different regions of the continental United States. It is a nice place to take a quiet break from the theme park.

The animals were adorable. I enjoyed that it was self-guided so you could spend as much time as you wanted as each exhibit.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the animals. The animals are so well taken care of (each has their own special name) and seem very happy in their spacious habitats. Our personal faves: Rosa and Ray, the mountain lions.

Having been in the park many times its a gret escape to sneak away for an hour and take in the different animals. Kids love to see everything moving around and are always welcomed by the friendly staff.

The Zoo is always a highlight. If you go in the summer months, try to visit early in the morning so all the animals are out and active. The prairie dogs provide endless entertainment.

We went to this zoo as part of our admission to HersheyPark. The zoo was very well maintained and had a good assortment of animals. Employees at the zoo were very informative and helpful. If you buy a HersheyPark ticket, you get free admission to the zoo. Young children will really enjoy the Zoo.

Mark0076, We're glad you enjoyed both Hersheypark (in another review) and ZooAmerica. Given the number of natural habitats you have around Clearwater, we're pleased you were able to enjoy our "hidden gem" here in Pennsylvania. Thank you for helping other Guests understand that ZooAmerica is included in the standard admission to Hersheypark. Best wishes. More

The zoo was the right size. They do give you a suggested route, but you can go off that if there is something you want to see or see more of. The only downside for me was that they really didn't have a good gift shop. Worth stopping at least once

Went to the zoo last week while visiting the area. We did not go to Hershey Park so we just paid for the zoo. The zoo isn't very big but had many interesting animals that I haven't seen at other zoos. Enjoyed the road runner, owls, porcupine, wolf and especially the bald eagles!!! Worth a visit!

kiwizoe, We're happy you decided to stop in for a visit and it's neat to read all the animals you were able to observe. When it gets hot, we provide certain of our animals some ice to cool them off and offer some behavioral enrichment. Nice to have you! More

Great zoo with many animals. My favorite were the animals in the desert darkness. All in all a great time had by all. They have some good quick food options also.

Scuba024, We try to provide a variety of settings and animals for our Guests to understand the breadth of animal diversity in North America. We're glad you enjoyed the setting with our nocturnal animals--who will now have "sun" when we're all asleep. Thank you for seeing us and telling your friends to come visit us too. More
