On our last day in the Hershey area we decided to go to Hershey Gardens, which we had a groupon for. The flowers are absolutely beautiful, and the layout is great, with a good mixture of bright sunny areas and shaded areas for hot days. The best part of the Gardens was the Butterfly House, which was absolutely filled with... More

The Hershey Botanical Gardens were absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are beautifully laid out and the flowers were incredible. I saw trees I'd never heard of before (I didn't know there was a weeping cedar.) The butterfly house is a must do thing, especially if you have kids. They'll be fascinated and so will the adults. Take a camera as you... More

Such an impressive and immaculately cared Botanical Garden just below the Hotel Hershey. beautifully manicured grounds of an abundance of beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees, rocks and herbs. A wonderful addition of things to do and see in this phenomenal town.

A nice way to spend a few hours on a sunny day. We especially liked the small butterfly house! Rose gardens and the Milton Hershey memorial garden were so beautiful and peaceful. Don't miss the Mother Tree. Very surprising! There is also a special area for kids to play and climb.

Based on previous reviews I was expecting much more from these gardens. It was the 2nd week in July and there wasn't a lot in bloom. The roses were pretty dead and I found that I had many of the flowers and herbs they had there in my back yard gardens in Rhode Island. My husband and kids ended up... More

The Gardens are not to be missed. It's nice way to end a two day visit to Hershey. During the Halloween season, the Gardens are full of spooky illuminated jack-o-lanterns, hand-carved by the staff. Spread throughout the Gardens are trick-or-treating spots and interactive sessions for story-telling, lessons on pumpkin carving and other Halloween-related fun. Watch for other fun events in... The Gardens are not very large but well marked and kept. We especially enjoyed the Butterfly Garden.

Went to the gardens in July, most of the rose plants had already died. I can imagine it would be amazing if they were all in full bloom though. Peaceful place, water fountain in the center, lots of different types of trees and plants, cool place if your into flowers. They do have a very small butterfly house also and... More
