I go here every year with my mother, and every year we watch them make candles. It does not get old. We also visit the little farm outside. It is a really great place to visit, and we cannot wait to go back in a few months.

Great demonstrations showing how candles are carved. Makes you appreciate the art behind it. The gentlemen was very kind with my children and took the time to show them how its done. Candles are nice, but I did expect them to have a stronger scent. We ended up purchasing more than anticipated because they had a special sale. So far... More

Cute little candle shop with very cool candle-making demonstrations. The guys giving the demo were really nice and the candles are lovely. Nice selection of items, a little overpriced, but not unreasonable for a vacation area. It's a neat little place to visit.

Small, overpriced....not what I was expecting. A bit disappointed. We have wanted to go in there for years and finally stopped. Now I know.....will find another shop.

My boyfriend and I are vacationing in the Poconos and absolutely loved the House of Candles!! I was in my heaven because the prices were a great price and there were so many different smells! He even enjoyed himself because he got a cool hand-carved eagles candle! We will definitely go back if ever in the area again!

Just the beautiful smell of the candles is worth the trip. I always purchase a bag full of candles. There are so many to choice from so I end up buying as many as possible. If you love candles don't miss this shop

I read about this shop on-line and wanted to take my kids to some local sites during our trip. My 5 & 10 year old both loved this place. The candles are beautiful and they enjoyed watching the demonstrations of candle making. My 10 year old had her hand dipped in wax and it may have been the highlight of... More

We took the time after leaving Great Wolf lodge to go to the House of Candles and I am glad we did. It was such a great family store. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The candles were also amazing. From how they carve them to making a wax hand. I think we will try to make a special... More
