This ferry boat is such a lovely experience. Once on board, you get a choice of indoor seating or an open air ride on the top of the boat. The views from the top are so pretty! You can see the city, and surrounding areas, including the state capital building as you are informed of it's rich history. The crew... More

This was a fun, relaxing way to spend some time in Harrisburg. We purchased our tickets online a few days before, so I am not sure how difficult/easy it is to walk up and purchase tickets. The boat left on time and had some benches and chairs for sitting during the ride. There is a recorded narration describing the sites... More

A most relaxing outing on a summer’s day. We enjoyed the views from the shaded upper deck. If we found it too hot- we could have caught refuge from the sun, or the rain in the air-conditioned lower deck which also provides wonderful views through its many windows. We enjoyed our personal pan pizza from the galley, and our $5... More

We would highly recommend the boat ride. This is a great family activity to learn about the history of the Susquehanna River. A great crew who made the ride enjoyable.

The trip aboard the ship will take about 45 minutes, traveling in the Susquehanna River past the sites of Harrisburg. The Pride of the Susquehanna is a small paddle boat, but there is enough room to move around and have some privacy with outdoor seating and indoor air conditioned seating. A snack bar is available for purchases on the inside... More

The parking was shared and not well marked - not sure if the baseball parking was the place or not but our handicapped tag solved the problem of parking for us. The trip pleasant and the narration thorough for the time on the cruise. We would have preferred a live narration rather than a tape but that is what you... More

This was a nice trip. Got to see the fall colors starting along the river. It was relaxing and an opportunity to see more than just a hotel.

This past week I took my second ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna! The first time it was with my husband, two young children & another couple, and the second time was with a group of 13 homeschooled 4-6 graders, 7 chaperones, and 3 young children. Both trips were great and something I would recommend as both fun and... More

My husband and I went on one of the 45 minute tours on 6/5/15. It was very nice and we thought the main cabin was beautiful. Only issue was not with the boat or crew but the ppl who work near there. No signs telling you how to get to the dock and the ppl working right across couldn't give... More

We found a Groupon offer and saved a little going on the Pride of the Susquehanna. It was a lot of fun and so peaceful riding the boat down the Susquehanna river. There is about a 20 minute recording telling you some of the history of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, and the Susquehanna. The rest of the time you just enjoy each... More
