We are always pleased with the promotions and seats we get when we go to a Senators game. A family friendly stadium and program. We have always felt safe on our evening visits, too.

Small steam locamotive that runs a circuit around the island, ferry, batting cages, mini golf, local soccer and baseball games and great vendors. There is even a small playground midway around the island to take a break at while the kids use their imaginations to play.

It was a nice Saturday Evening, There was a Harrisburg Senator baseball game going on so there was a nice crowd of people but the Island was not crowded.. just busy. Many couples and families , especially with youngsters were just out walking along the river or heading down to get a ice cream at the end of the island.... More

City Island is a fun place for everyone. From a safe place to park and start my runs to a nice afternoon with the kids. The Senator games are always a hit and while they serve okay food for a ballpark they also have Troegs and Lancaster Brew for some of their beer selections which is unique to minor league... More

We walked across the Walnut Street Bridge on a gorgeous sunny morning as recommended by a local. We knew the Harrisburg Senators' stadium was there, but weren't expecting to find an arcade with classic games. My husband about had a heart attack when he saw the Star Trek Next Gen pinball machine. We played, and I'm happy to say that... More

Somewhat nice park on a large island in the Susquehanna River. Has a very nice , modern minor league baseball stadium, which is worth a visit all by itself. A nice walking and nature trail on the northwest side of the island. Sometimes there are lots of geese and other waterfowl. Picturesque views of the river any time of day,... More

Ok it is seasonal for the most part but when in Harrisburg during warm months I wouldn't miss it. It is really the place to be during festivals that occur here several times a year. You can get something to eat while enjoying the scenic river views. You can catch a ball game when the Senators are in town....a double... More

There are so many things to do on this island, particularly go to a Senators baseball game. Love it there, and this past year there was this awesome Indian/Native American festival on the island which was the absolute coolest event I've ever attended there!
