Since Snyder's of Hanover brought samples to a music festival near our home, we've been buying the honey mustard and onion pretzels. We were planning to be in the area and decided to do the tour. They were able to book us for the last two spots the following day. We got to see the pretzels coming out of the... More

Since the tour does not run on Fridays or on weekends, we just visited the store. I will start by saying that there are bargains galore and the selection was great. I was a bit disappointed that they told me photos were not allowed in the store... buzz kill. The isles were also way to narrow and you had trouble... More

This tour requires a reservation and begins on time--don't be late. The guide was quite good. My only problem with this tour was that it went backwards-from warehouse to packaging to making the product. There was a big outlet store attached.

Can't tell you how many times we have tried to get on this factory tour whenever I am home visiting my parents. The tour times are varied, and limited, so do check ahead to avoid disappointment. We do, however, enjoy the factory outlet store, which is onsite, and we cannot pass by there without stopping at least once when we... More

Loved it all nothing to dislike. Well maybe that there was not enough room in my car to bring home more snacks.

We didn't do the factory tour, so I can't comment on that. We enjoyed the outlet store though. They have an excellent variety of pretzel type foods, so enjoy! But my absolute favorite was the cinnamon things in the silver bag for 99 cents. OMG, these are the best things ever!!!!! But of course I bought plenty of pretzels as... More

Have not taken the tour but visit the outlet and buy the delicious assortments of pretzels and other tasty items they offer for sale in their establishment. Stock up for school lunches or home lunches, trips, etc. Great assortment and great value.

After having just completed the self-guided tour at the UTZ factory, we were surprised to find this was a guided tour. It is our opinion that it didn't need to be. It seems to us that they could benefit from the way that UTZ does their tour by pushing a button at each window and hearing an automated explanation of... More

We toured three factories while in Hanover--Utz's Potato Chips, Revonah Pretzels and Snyder's. Snyder's allowed you to see certain parts of their production line and seemed to be more interested at "bragging" about all the automated processing which was a turn off. I hate to see jobs lossed due to automation. This company seems to put profit before people. If... More

Unlike Martin's Potato Factory Tour, this one doesn't permit visitors on the floor. As one walks down a hallway, views of what is happening can be seen through windows. It's still a great tour. It ends in the outlet store where they provide a small bag of chips. There are also a "wide variety" of chips and candies for sale.
