We stopped here towards the end of the day. The tour was self-guided along the factory line making potato chips. The line was viewed through a series of windows. There are buttons to push to hear an explanation of what is being viewed. It is a nice place to see, but make sure to check the hours that tours are... More

We went with our family of 5 and 3 young children, 9 and under. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. As soon as you get into the parking lot you can smell the chips. The tour is self guided and free. It starts out with a movie about the history of the Utz family and business. You then go into... More

We had so much fun at this facility. We watched them make potato chips from start to finish. It was so cool to watch, from the beginning of washing the potato's, cooking, salting, to bagging them and putting in boxes. I would recommend going there if you are in the area.

It was a neat place to visit. I don't know that I would make it a destination point but was worth a walk through. Everyone was friendly. It was pretty cool to taste test chips. Kids loved it.

first of all there is NO elevator to get to the second floor and there is a lot of steps!!! But when you start the tour you enter in a huge reception area, there you watch a short movie of the history of UTZ. Then you go thru the doors and start the tours with station you stop at and... More

After a two hour drive, the factory closed two hours early without prior notification on website and phone. UTZ employee said after I expressed my disappointment that "its not like we dont make millions!" We drove two hours to get here! What a disappointment!

As noted by others, the tour is a self-conducted walk along an elevated hallway, looking through the windows to the Production floor below. It was pretty good and the kids liked it, too. After the Tour, you get a small sample bag of chips and a discount coupon for the outlet store, located about a mile or so away. There... More

This is a completely self-guided tour. There are several recorded stations down a long hallway overlooking the production floor. As you go down the hall, you push the button for the recording and watch the machines below. Get a bag of chips at the end of the tour. When we were there, we were told if our son had his... More
