It's been a long time since I've been on the tour but I always have enjoyed it. You get to see how many different bags of chips they do before you walk in. Get to see the potatoes on the line from the peeling to the bagging process. When you get to the end of the tour & see all... More

You get to see the real factory and how it works. It is great for kids and adults alike. The best part.... It's free!

We were there on a Friday, so no tours were being run. Not sure why they don't run them on Fri and Saturday. They could bring you through the plant to show the lines at least. The store was great. It is better than Snyder's store, but the prices were not quite as low. Still a bargain though. They were... More

We drove from Gettysburg to the factory only to find it does not do tours on Fridays. BE WARNED. But did goto outlet which was a decent consolation.

Stopped here because I am an UTZ lover. Their potato chips are the best in my book. This is a nice, free, self guided tour. At the end of the tour, you get a free fresh bag of chips and directions to the factory store which is a few blocks away. A good way to get your potato chip fix.

Recently went on the UTZ tour. Kids (9 years old) had a good time! It was really interesting and you could see the process from start to finish. Self guided tour, so you can take as much time or as little time as you want. Free to take the tour and free chips at the end. All the employees were... More

This is a free, self guided tour that takes you through the potato chip making process. It starts with the unloading of potatoes from the truck and shows every step of the way....washing, peeling, slicing, rinsing, frying, seasoning, quality control, packaging and storage. It's not fancy but it is very informative and interesting. It takes anywhere for 20 to 30... More

I took my two young children (ages 6 and 7) on the UTZ Chip Trip and was delighted at how much they both really enjoyed it! The tour took us all of 15-20 minutes as my children didn't really care to stop and listen to the audio playbacks that described steps in chip-making production. (Some of the buttons were not... This was a place I wanted to stop at on our way home from Gettysburg. I was surprised that there was really no one there. There was one staff member there and he showed us a little history about the company and I was really suprised at all the different flavors Utz put out that we don't see in stores.... More

Great self guided tour. Free! No kidding we saw potatoes coming right out of the tractor trailer and turn into delicious crispy chips in front of our eyes! Then, we got a little lunch box sized snack bag of chips complementary for each member of our party and then we went over to the outlet store and got chips in... More
