We enjoy going to the store as it has so much to view. They have a fish tank and a wildlife path.. It is pricey and over crowded, one must wait in lines for awhile to check out. So we go to local small places when buying sporting goods.

If in the area, Cabela's is a good place to take the kids to see some animals that they have never seen. Kind of a museum of natural history of sorts. If into the hunting, fishing or the outdoors, this place pretty much has it all. There is also a restaurant inside, but we did not eat there.

We heard our son-in-law speak of this store so highly that we thought we would go to see what was there. We do not hunt or fish, and truth be told, our "outdoors side" means going to the beach. The store has a wonderful selection of premium clothing such as North Face and Columbia. There is a nice snack bar... More

If you are traveling anywhere along this route and are an outdoors-person ... make it a point to stop in here. If for no other reason to see the amazing displays.

My first experience at Cabela's was in 2008 when my son and I first moved to Hamburg. I was amazed at all the hunting equipment you can purchase and use for hunting. I met lots of hunters from my jobs and they tell me that this is the best place to get hunting and fishing gear. Cabela's is was easy... More

We've been here many times to make purchased, but they have a museum atmosphere which should keep everyone interested. The restaurant on the second floor has very good food and the waterfall has fish the kids can watch.

We've been here a few times now and enjoy spending time roaming in this amazing place. I'm a camper, not a hunter, so I cringe a bit at the animal exhibits. But our grandchildren loved the live aquarium display and the mountain display. Kept them happy while we shopped. It was only as we left that we realized the place... More

What a cool store to have in a scenic place. Awesome art work sculpture is native Americans in a canoe out front of the building. It's beautiful. And it's a outdoors mans paradise inside. Love the selection of everything. Wish the kayak department was bigger but the season is ending soon so I understand. Plenty is ammo to go around... More

While a bit macabre with all the mounted wildlife this store is definitely an experience if you are in the area. It is ridiculously large. Give yourself a few hours to see the place and even have lunch if you are there in the middle of the day. Not a ton of bargains to be found and despite the size... More
