This was a cute place and fun way to spend your time. I loved the bus ride and the small petting zoo. The only thing I would warn parents about is the biting pony in the petting zoo, didn't hurt the kids but just be aware.

Great place for familys who love animals. We went to this place twice and never regret about visiting. Last time we were there with our 18 months old daughter and it was her first experience feeding a wild animals. She was very excited. There were a lot of different animals and we came really close to them. The guide was... More

We have traveled to many zoos, but Lake Tobias is the best! The entry fee is so reasonable, free parking, up-close experience with animals - can't be beat. It's a must visit in central PA!

I've been coming here since I was a child and it's only gotten better. A small zoo, but plenty of animals to see and plenty of interaction. Tickets can be purchased for the zoo, safari, or a combo ticket. Doing both is worth the price, however if you only have time for one, I would do the safari. They have... More

Take a safari ride to see some really awesome animals not normally found in the zoo's. They also have shows and a petting area. Food was good when I was there several years ago, but didn't try it the last time I was there.

Lake Tobias is wonderful destination for the entire family. The safari ride was very interesting. The animals come close to the vehicle and they can be fed with the food bought at the concession stand before the ride. The safari driver was our guide. She was very enthusiastic and gave us interesting facts about the animals roaming the fields. The... More

I have been to Lake Tobias twice; and will go back. This place is like a zoo only much cheaper and far more interactive and hands on, far better value in my opinion. The first trip was during the summer months, Aug of 2013 I believe. The wait for the safari bus was long, nearly 45 minutes maybe? But the... More

We randomly stopped here while driving from Western NY. I am so glad that we did. The safari is a must, the animals come right up to the bus and you can feed them out of your hand. This lasts about 45-55 mins. They have so many animals in the zoo part that you would not think a place like... More

My family -- husband, two young children (ages 5 and 2), and I -- decided to take a day trip to Lake Tobias today to take advantage of the beautiful weather. It was the perfect day for the trip, and the perfect place for it, too. This was the 4th time my son has been here, but it was the... More

Visited with a 13 y/o and 10 y/o. Although the park is on the small side it is worth the drive. I have not been to any other animal experience anywhere that allows the close up encounters that Tobias does. The kids loved it. The got to pet/touch a goat, sheep, llama, buffalo, elk, miniature horse, donkey, snake, deer, capybara... More
