Almost every animal is at this zoo! And sometimes the keepers will take the animals fir walks and you can see them up close! And the petting zoo is a lot of fun!
While we were camping in New Columbia, a young couple next to us told us about this place. We figured it would occupy some time. It was an awesome experience, especially the safari. Seeing the animals so close and being able to feed them was unbelievable.
This place is really awesome. Not sure why many of the other reviewers are being so critical about the way the park is.. This is one of a kind wildlife park at least in the North East. There are plenty of good Zoos around but it is different to see the wilder beast in the open.. Unless you plan a... More
The safari ride was nice and the animals there have lots of space, but the cages for the other animals are much too small, especially for the tigers, lions and bears. I'm always ambivalent about animal parks because I love seeing the animals up close, but I hate seeing them caged up in unnatrual habitats.
Today, good zoos have enclosures that are recognized as adequate for todays standards at zoos. This zoo has some large animals; such as, lions, tigers, baboons, monkeys and bears. The enclosures for these animals are not up to what standards should be for large animals. Also, I was very distressed to see tropical birds out in weather that was way... More
I wasn't expecting much from this "zoo" but we all loved it! There were 15 of us, assorted ages and sizes and everyone had a wonderful time. I think by far, our favorite part was the safari ride. We were able to get up close and personal with many large animals....think buffalo and elk, and feed them crackers. Our guide... More
Would not have expected a wildlife park in central PA. Inexpensive - $6 for the zoo area and $6 for the safari. There are always coupons for half off the safari. The safari is nice because the animals have free range. It is short safari. The driver does narrate the trip. You can purchase crackers to feed the animals. The... More
This is a great little park. It's the perfect size for our kids, not too big or overwhelming. Our favorite pary is the safari ride. Make sure you buy some crackers for the animals. We love to feed the animals and get close up to them and pet them. The animals are so friendly and look like they are in... More

Our favorite is the Buffalo and then we at a Buffalo burger really yummy. Going in the fall was nice because it was a little cool... More
