Based on the information and reviews I found here, I decided to take my son (11) and his second cousin (10) to Waldameer while visiting family nearby. We had a great time! It was the Friday before Labor Day weekend and we discovered that most of the Pennsylvania kids were in school, unlike the kids in Virginia and New York,... More

Waldameer Park is a nice small amusement park. One of the best features is that you do not need to buy a pass to enter the park. So if you are visiting with small children who are riding the rides, but you are not then you do not need to buy a pass. You can purchase rides individually as you... More

The waterpark is awesome & growing. The park itself is small enough to enjoy in a full day into the evening (stay to see it lit up) & they have all the amusement park goodies you love to eat. Buy the all day pass to enjoy the park until closing or stop by after dinner for an evening pass (sans... More

Enjoyed our trip to Waldameer, but was surprised by how small it is. I guess we are spoiled by the huge parks in Ohio like Cedar point and King's Island. It was a very clean and family oriented park. Great for younger kids, but I think teens would start to get bored after an hour or two. Appreciated the employees... More

This is true Americana. Waldameer has been in existence for approximately 100 years and is run as a family owned park with enjoyable rides and a huge water park. My grandfather went to waldameer as a child, my father did, I did and my children and wife have. All of us have enjoyed it. With picnic grounds you can have... More

I love the flying swings! Waldemeer is a great park - lots of the best midway rides to choose from. The Ravine Flyer was super fast and, frankly, frightening! Wish they had some better food choices, though.

We have so much fun every summer at Waldameer. Since they added the summer passes we go at least once a week. We love Waldameer.

Had a blast in this family friendly park, will come back next year! Only thing that needed help was the stage entertainment.

The park had rides I loved when I was a kid that are no longer at the big parks I normally frequent. It was a very good time.
