For our first visit to Waldameers we were surprised to see that parking was free and so was admission (you only need to pay for a wristband if you want to go on the rides). And speaking of rides, they were perfect for our 8 year old son who has passed the "kiddie ride" stage but is still intimidated by... More

My husband and I took our 3 year old there today. The water park wasn't open yet, but we had a great time! If you plan to ride rides, definitely get a wrist band. Well worth the price. However, it is free to park and free to get in. So if you don't want to ride, its a cheap day... More

This is a terrific park if you don't want the long lines at Cedar Point, and if you want a softer pace, yet still fun filled day. There is plenty for adults and kids alike. More

We were visiting our son in Erie and had never been there before. Our other kids are older and we all had a great time there. The staff was friendly, things were run efficiently and the prices were not out of line. This park has something for everyone. More

Love it here! Lines are not long and the rides are within a short walk of each other. More

This is a wonderful park nestled next to Presque Isle in Erie, Pa. If you have never visited you should! Old time charm with current rides and water park. Fun for all ages. The best thing about this park is the picturesque setting. Lots of old trees and beautiful flowers. There is NO CHARGE for going in the park unless... More

We really enjoyed a full day at Waldameer Park last summer. The "new" roller coaster was the WOW! factor Loved it and rode it several times. Great ride!! The other rides traditional fun: Ferris wheel, Wild mouse...the smallish park offered fun snacks too at decent Erie prices. The Water park was full, looked fun, separate admission so will try next... A very nice park, especially if you have younger children. The rides are not top notch, but the place is affordable and clean. More

Waldameer has been a landmark in Erie for over a century and continues to grow. While not as aboundant as other large parks, a large variety of rides and slides are available for all ages. Most rides accomodate children and parents with 30-36" height requirements. However, older children, teens, and adults will find some thrills in the world-class Ravine Flyer... More

Waldameer is one of those old style amusement parks where there is no admission fee. You can either buy an all day wristband, or just pay as you go. There is also a picnic area where you can bring in your own food if you want. There are plenty of different kinds of rides for all ages, and a super... More
