Fabulous zoo found in Erie PA

Have visited many zoo's over the year, Erie has one of the finest. The recently remodeled zoo with animals living in natural habitats is wonderful. Friendly staff is most helpful.

This is a small, but totally wonderful zoo. Plenty of great exhibits and awesome gardens. You can easily visit with small children and see everything, without them getting tired.

This is a first rate zoo! The animals are easy to see and there are great descriptions of them at each display. The grounds are beautiful, too.

Nice medium sized zoo with lots of activities for small children definitely not the biggest zoo but loads of fun with a train playground petting goats and more!!

If you have little ones or are traveling with friends and family, this zoo is just right for you. Lots to do and see. Animals look well cared for. Facilities are in relatively good shape. When the weather is fine outside, it's a grand place to spend an afternoon or day.

We belong to the Buffalo Zoo and were able to get in for half price! It was fun to compare the animals we see in Buffalo with what Erie has. It is built on a hill and that was different too. We had a great time. There were a lot of school children there but it didn't seem crowded. They... More

It had been 5-7 years since we went to the zoo here in Erie. Since then they have mastered the terrain that they had to work with that includes a creek, hills, woods and existing and new structures. We found it to be very nice down to eating at the facility. There was as much information as you wanted and... More

It was a great zoo, especially for the price that you pay. Had a good bit of animals, wish the maps had the "you are here" sticker it would have made it easier to figure out where we were and which way to go , but it's a must see for the price

We are on a mini vacation from Pittsburgh, and we decide to go to the Zoo while here (i love zoos!) We were not disappointed. They have a very nice variety of animals, some that neither my fiancé nor I have seen before. You can tell that they are in the process of updating the different animal's habitats (currently they...
