It is underconstraction right now but it does not take a full day to do this zoo. As adults we were through in an hour. With kids give it 2-3 there are alot of activities for the kids.

a lot of construction going on we were there for about 2 hours. it was ok. cheap enough. once the lion construction is done that might be worth the trip to see again. the train ride around the zoo was nice.

This zoo is small which makes for nice causal stroll without rushing from point a to point b. They have a great picnic area in the back of the zoo, Pack a lunch, walk the zoo, go eat lunch and come back in after lunch. View the animals at different times. I spend hours there at my favorite animals exhibit... More

The flowers they have are just beautiful. From what I understand they have an organic gardener there.

Visited the zoo with 5 people for under $40! We had a great day and enjoyed how the zoo was not too big that you become exhausted walking around it. The animals were easy to observe and you could get close to them for good sighting! The carousel ($2) was really cute and there were other places for the kids... More

It was a very clean zoo. The animals seemed to be well kept. All areas were swept clean all the people working there were very nice.

Being a smaller city, the Erie Zoo is relatively small in size. But great exhibits and well managed. Very clean with a courteous staff. An ideal place for a younger family visit. Very popular with our grandchildren

We had a break in the weather so we stopped by the zoo. Finding a place to park was an issue because it was "Senior Day" and admission was free. This wasn't the best zoo we've ever visited but it most certainly was worth the visit while in Erie.
