We took a bus trip to both the Salamanca NY Casino and then to Erie on 3/30. Marked difference in the two - Salamanca so unique, clean, great buffet, great incentives. Erie much gloomier, slots not as fun, too full to eat but restaurants not exciting. View was pretty from the 2nd floor bar area, but that was about it.... More

Presque Isle Downs is not a "true casino". Slots barn would be a better description of this "casino". We live only 5 minutes from the slots barn, and rarely frequent this estsablishment. They do not know what a comp is as compared to other true casinos. When you have to pay $5 for valet parking if you are a gold... More

99 percent chance you will lose at the slots in the high limit room. In 5 years going there have never left up... Spend your money on your kids future and I promise you a return on your money.. Food is no good and you have to pay for drinks. Surely you greedy people could at least pay for a... More

If you enjoy gambling, Presque Isle Downs and Casino is a good stop in the Erie, PA area. It's located right off Interstate 90, has plenty of ample parking with shuttle service, and lots of ways to try your luck: thousands of slots machines, table games, poker rooms, two restaurants, plus a buffet. Go there for the fun of gambling... More

Machines are tight, food is pretty bad but a little better than when it opened. Buffet is over priced for the quality. You have to pay for mixed drinks unlike a real casino. Everything is for the high roller (or biggest losers) like free valet parking, promotions etc. I prefer to drive 70 miles to a real casino in Salamanca... More

I often visit the casino, but more for something to do than to win, if you do go don't expect to win I only take what I expect to lose, however it is fun and something to do, recommend the clubhouse for dining, the in café food sucks, all food cooked in a microwave I don't know how they can... Where to begin? The whole place is centered upon greed. The location is closely located off I-90, their only +! While I laud the efficient valet parking, they raised the fee to $5! This is a free amenity at real casinos. Oh, and although casino is open 24/7, valet closes @2 a.m. Would you like to enjoy a cocktail while... More

I am not an expert when it comes to casinos. This one is older (Ohio allowed casinos last year and ours are all new). Main disappointment was they allow smoking!! We did win a little.

You need to unlock your slot machine so people hit better. When doing drawings to keep people there you need to make them pay better and give free games more. Get more penny machines back in there. Need to give the Erie people there players club money back and up there money. Ohio does not need to get $500.00 on... More

This is a really comfortable casino with a very pleasant staff. Unlike the Cleveland casino, a person can feel totally safe here. Plus, the slots pay out much better. The new steak restaurant is fantastic and the people -- again unlike Cleveland -- are friendly and nice and not rude.
