This park is super family friendly - from free parking, numerous options for ticket purchase - buy tickets as you go, hand stamps or wrist bands ( all very affordable)- what ever works for each family member. They have stroller and wagon rentals which come in handy when bringing little ones. Food stands with the usual park fare but also... More

This park has been a family favorite of ours for many years. It is so nice not to have to pay for parking or to have to pay for everyone to get it when half of us don't ride any rides. It is also nice to be able to pack our own food and be able to cook it on... More

After over 100 amusement parks in over a dozen countries, Knoebels consistently comes to mind when I think of the be-all, end-all traditional amusement park. This park is one of the single-greatest leisure institutions in the USA.

Best amusement park around. No entrance fee and free parking make it affordable for all. Hand stamps reasonable if you are going to ride a lot or tickets if you just want to ride 1 ride, but if you don't ride at all you can just enjoy the wonderful food, free concerts, picnics, and fun.

This is probably the most unique amusement park I have ever visited. The Knoebels family (pronounce the "K") started it in the 1920s and the whole place reflects the progression of the park through the years, with interesting architecture, attractions and rides. No parking or admission fees-- pay for only what you want. There are some wristband options available, too.... More

Remember that amusement park that was free to park, free to walk around, free picnic tables, free to bring your own food and drink, and you only paid for anything when you purchased tickets for the rides? Well...that still exists, and its right in the middle of the beautiful central pennsylvania woods. Welcome to Knobel's the best amusement park for... More

Great for younger ones or those who do not care for large coasters. The abundance of shade is a major plus!

I've been returning to Knoebel's every year since my girls were very young and are now in their early 20s. This park is very reasonably priced more so than Hershey Park, Dorney Park and other parks throughout Pennsylvania. You have a choice to buy an all day pass that includes the roller coasters or one that doesn't include roller coasters.... More

Prices have crept up but for a day trip or a long weekend (or week!) you can't beat it! It has short lines (compared to six flags, hershey, or dorney), great food, and is very scenic with lots of green. The Alamo... the sit-down diner is a great bang for your buck and a way to bask in the a.c.... More

My wife, son and I visited Knoebel's on June 26. They added a new coaster to the park. The park has a great family atmosphere. Unlike gated parks, Knoebel's does not charge admission so whether you want to just enjoy the Merry-Go-Round or take in all the rides, the option is yours.
