We just took the Virtual Trolley Tour with our twin granddaughters, age 9. Although we were somewhat disappointed upon arrival when we found out that the trolley tour was virtual, we decided to stay and we very happy that we did!! You still board the original trolley, which has two large screens and an excellent narrator. Once the tour was... More

We loved the trolley virtual tour! I have neck problems, & don't always see everything on tours like this, but we were able to see ALL the sights on our virtual tour! Our guide was very knowledgable about the area, showing additional photographs of older buildings no longer standing. Then we stopped at a few places that caught our interest... More

First impression may be that this is a road trip. As stated in the brochure it is not, but is a virtual tour on screens in either of the STATIC old trolleys. After the screening you are given a map and van then drive the route. Good value? You decide.

Thank you for taking the time to write the review, however, I must admit it left me confused as to if you actually did the Virtual Tour or not? There was no mention made of the live Tour Guide who actually drove the Tour for 17 years. It takes a little over an hour for the presentation which covers the... More

We stopped at The Gap on a whim, on a road trip up to Jim Thorpe Village. We hit the Visitor Center first, and were intrigued by the Trolley ads... We were told that the trolley no longer drives an actual route through the town, but the new virtual tour was still quite informative. We headed on over, and were... More

Ir you plan to spend a few days in the area I recommend going on this very inexpensive VIRTUAL tour. If you want a riding tour this is not for you but you get to learn where everything is and my wife and I spent the afternoon visiting most of the places they talked about. Go on the tour and... What an absolutely grumpy woman as the "face" of the Water Gap Trolley. I had called in the morning before leaving for our trip to the Poconos, thinking we could visit the trolley en route to our hotel. The woman told us that for many reasons (all reasonable), the trolley is no longer a moving trolley. Instead, visitors sit in... More

My wife and her mom took the trolley a year ago (summer 2014) when it was an actual tour, and they enjoyed it very much. Based on that experience, we decided to treat visiting friends this weekend to it. We were told that it was now a virtual tour, but that it would be very informative. In all fairness, it... More

We apologize that you seemed to have misunderstood what our new approach to a long time Pocono Tradition consisted of. Had you voiced your feelings the day of we would have gladly refunded your admission. As mentioned before, due to increased volume and careless driving habits we have been left no choice but to try and preserve the History of... More

Ok, so you go to a place that advertises trolley tours and you think you're going to get to go around on a trolley. NOT SO! Traffic over the years and a couple of close calls convinced the trolley people to keep the trolley stationary, and have a very informative video narrated live by a tour guide. While it may... More

We knew ahead of time that this was going to be virtual tour so we were not disappointed in that respect. Our "guide" did a very nice job of describing the surrounding areas. It was a one hour video tour of the Delaware Water Gap. I will say if you have children they will most likely be bored with the... More

I thought that I would not enjoy a virtual tour, but much to my surprise, it was very informative. I was told by the guide that views of certain attractions were not viable from the street. It was nice to just sit inside an original trolley for the tour. I learned a lot about Delaware Water Gap. Ann Kroh-Hughes
