We attended a Union Match recently. We are from out of state and we were very pleased at how easy it was to get there. We took the train from the city center. Upon arrival there were 2 shuttle busses waiting for us. There were police on hand as well for security. We were let off very close to the... More

My wife and I recently met with friends to attend a Union soccer game on a Thursday night at PPL Park. This was our first trip to this venue to see a game. The facility is very nice and it seems like every seat has a good view of the game. There were plenty of bathroom facilities and they were... More

I have been to several Union matches during the 2014 season. Every seat in this stadium offers a full view of the field. The drinks and food are expensive as expected in a stadium, but the food is surprisingly good. If you are a low-key person or going with younger kids the river-end seats where the Sons-of-Ben cheer should probably... More

The Union don't really seem to care about trying to draw in casual or new fans. The fans at the park are fun, the atmosphere is electric, and the stadium is intimate with great sight lines. But I was shocked to see prices higher than at a Phillies game; from the base ticket prices, to parking to concessions. $25 to... More

Great facility. Not huge but thats a good thing and perect for good views and a fun atmosphere. We took our 2 kids, both under 10 years old, and were a little worried if this was going to be a cursing Eagles crowd or a laid back Phillies. It gurned out to definitely be a place to take kids without... More

I wanted to leave a review to share this important tidbit with you: DO NOT bring a water bottle with you. I carry a reusable bottle to try to be environmentally friendly. They asked me to throw it away so I could then spend $4.25 plastic bottle of water. In the meantime they have signs all over inside about how... More

Terrific little stadium. On the river. Good view of the Commodore Barry Bridge. Neatly every seat has a good view. Plenty of facilities. Clean bathrooms. Well-behaved family atmosphere. But.... Parking and access are bad. Staff are not knowledgable. Prices for food and water are high.

I finally had a chance to catch a Philadelphia Union professional soccer game. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs and should have gone sooner. Getting there is a breeze and parking is reasonable. The place is clean as a whistle and there are plenty of concessions for food and drink. We had access to the Stadium Club which is at... More

Had a chance to attend a Philadelphia Union soccer match on a nice Saturday afternoon. The game was interesting even though the locals lost. The stadium is 5 years old and looks and feels like a small venue. No bad seats in the house, everybody has a fantastic view of the pitch and the S.O.B.s (Sons of Ben, the local... More

We were there for the WUSV 2013 World Championship. Nice place with lots of parking and relatively easy access. The neighborhood is kind of scary tho.
