I'm a former ski instructor and daughter of two ski patrollers. I've skied in 8 states and 2 foreign countries, so I've seen a lot of ski areas. I want to like Seven Springs. I really do. It's the biggest ski area close to our PGH home and it has some good skiing, but I'd rather drive to NY and... More

Dear Linda, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I will certainly follow up with the managers regarding the porta-potties, food and beverage, and patrol. I know our groomers are the hardest working and have done a great job this year. I hope the next time your experience is much better. If you have any other questions... More

After hearing many reviews, I decided to finally ski "THE Pittsburgh Ski Resort".....tips up....don't waste your money and by the way you will need a lot of it!March 6, a cold clear day, thought it would be a great idea to get there first thing in the morning and enjoy a full day on the snow. The parking is a... More

The snowmaking and grooming has really gone downhill since the Nutting family has taken over. They seem to be more interested in terrain parks and "Superpipes". A lot of good ski terrain has been taken up by these parks and from what I could tell the percentage of skiers/boarders using the parks wasn't very high. I'm not saying you need... More

John, I understand your concern but we have gotten a lot of demand for the terrain parks and we are the only 22' superpipe on the East Coast which is very impressive! We do value your opinion though and will certainly forward this to slope management to see if there is any addition in the works. Thanks for your time. More

My family and I stayed at Seven Springs this past weekend and could not be more satisfied with the resort ammenities. The slopes were in perfect condition and the food at the Timbers was excellent. There were lots of people at the resort as the weekend had near perfect skiing conditions. The Trillium spa was fantastic. We can't wait to... More

We just got back from 2 nights at ths resort in a Sunridge condo. . The rental process was pretty easy but it was empty. I'm sure on busy days it's insane. We then enroleled our 4 and 7 year old in a private lesson for $175 for one hour. The instructor was Jen and she was REALLY pushy. Immediately... More

Our family of 4 went skiing over the long MLK weekend and had a good time. We had wonderful skiing weather that weekend. It was a pretty crowded weekend, though, so we found it beneficial to eat at "off times" to avoid long waits for a table. The ski lifts are not well organized, and the slopes are not well... More

Dear Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Seven Springs. In regards to the tubing and walking far, we actually have shuttles that will pick you up and they come by the parking lot and all around the resort very often. It is very sad to see people don't care about the resort and through... More

I have skied many places around the world. This place is good for beginner skiers. The mountain itself is nice. Many slopes were completely ice even after receiving several inches of fresh snow. My complaints are with the organization of the slope lifts. I have experienced such disorganization with getting people onto lifts. Half the time it was a complete... More

Pros: The trails were beautiful and well groomed - perfect for skiing and snowboarding. The trails were never boring, incorporating turns and natural scenery right into the trail. Our condo was very nice, and we loved the "ski in, ski out" option. It was lovely to travel home at night by ski lift rather than by car. Cons: The bottom... More

Ten inches of fresh snow, sun poked through by the afternoon and no crowds coz its a Wednesday. Sure the runs are not huge but good enough to have some fun. The blacks = maybe a blue run out west. Food was ok and not extortionate. Overall pretty good experience especially as its only an hour drive!

I've done a lot of skiing and boarding in my day. I've also been to Seven Springs previously. However, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a ski resort. Lift lines were a free for all ... Disorganized and inefficient (let's not discuss being stuck on a lift for 20 minutes). Trails are poorly marked... Hey... I... More
