This may not be the biggest ski resort (compared to those out West), but I think it's the best in the area. They have a nice variety of trails instead of slopes that just run straight down the mountain. They also have more food options than other places and more convenient parking. It can get a little crowded, but I'm... More

I am a medium level skiier and I'm used to the slopes in Utah, and I didn't really like this resort. First, the mountain only had 4 quads that took you to the top. Second, the quads stopped a LOT and therefore went up the mountain very slow. Not sure if it was just the day I was there. Third,... More

Because of the runs being so narrow on this slope if there are lots of bus tours in with people that don't know how to ski it's not much fun.

So we went here for the wife's birthday. Tlwhen we got there, we went to the Children's Learning Center. We dropped off our oldest for all day snowboard camp and the youngest went to childcare all day. At first, the experience was pleasant. There weren't a ton of people, the slopes were good, and for my first time skiing, I... More

The Ski school here is top notch. This is the best place to learn and practice for bigger more expensive resorts. The restaurants and bars are excellent and everything is newly built and remodeled.

THE PROS: Liberty Mountain is a good resort to learn to ski/snowboard because of its well-trained Ski School. They offer a great priced package for first time skiers called the Mountain Passport Card for about $45 that includes a first-timers lesson, a lift ticket to beginner terrain, and ski/boot/pole rentals. It's snowmaking capabilities are good for a region that survives... More

I stayed at Liberty Mountain Resort for a wedding in October 2015. My room was in the same building as the registration area. It was beautifully renovated, spacious, and had a nice patio with sliding door. The beds were double so they did seem a little small compared to the queen bed that I'm used to. However, they were fine... More

We have been enjoying a 3/4 day golf package for a number of years. The course, food, accommodations, and employee attitude has always been first rate.

Surprised my wife with a golf weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we weren't disappointed! The golf course was challenging, but fair and the views were amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, making us feel very much at home. Great food and drinks in the restaurant followed by a relaxing walk around the grounds. Everything anyone could ask... This is not a huge mountain, but the ski school is excellent. It is better to go weeknights, as weekends are crowded. This is a great area to learn and practice for the bigger terrain.
